thanks for all the great comments, and I've tried with two lighters and bic is the best really cheap lighter.

will post more later, daytime shots

Number 2= looks like fireworks setting off

Great pictures man. What camera do you work with?

No problem. :)
You deserve it. They really are amazing. 👍

Your fire shots look great. I wish I had a better digital camera, rather than my dumb 1.5 megapixel junker. I like the shots from your second post with pictures better than the first post with pictures.

You should put the camera on a stable surface, like a tripod, and slow down the shutter speed and capture an image.

1) Your camera owns mine.

2) Bic really does kick all other cheap lighters asses.

The bigger flare on the first pic is just crazy.

heres another little experiment I tried with reflections in sunglasses, turned out better than I thought:

what do you guys think?

Very cool shots, Nemo. I really need to get my camera out for more than pics of my son (turning 1 year in a few weeks!!). I took an interesting shot of the constellation Orion a few weeks ago. I'll try to get it posted this weekend. Let me know what you think of these. Nothing special, mostly point and shoot with no setup. That's something else I need to work on.
