Theme: New
Cars: Any production car listed in a "new" section of a dealership.
Tracks: Any.
No phototravel.

PMC Division:
Photoshop rules from the standard Photomode Competition.

2.0 Division:
Photoshop rules from the 2.0 Advanced Competition.

There will be 16 competitors from each division to qualify for the tournament.
32 total.
The poll will be anonymous.
Anyone that does not qualify will remain anonymous.

Rules & Deadline.

All entries should be uploaded by , and sent to treefingers in a PM.
You must type either "PMC" or "2.0" above your entry,
to let me know which division you are qualifying for.
Do not add a signature to your entry.
Do not post your entry in your gallery.
Do not use a photo from your gallery.
You will be allowed to change your entry once.
Deadline is exactly 9 days from the time this post was made.

It would be good to see some people competing, who missed out last time round. As for me, I'm unsure if I should enter (because of a busy schedule ahead). I will see... but I definitely would like to compete 👍

So, ofcourse no sig, but will borders still be allowed?
 
I guess the answer would be no for PMC rules
only brightness and contrast adjustment, adding frame and watermark removal are allowed

for 2.0, that's in grey area, it depends what you do with it
like airbrushing in layer mask would be okay (like motion blur stuff)
but if you use it to make something non-existing in original image
like adding widebody kit or adding headlights, that wouldn't be allowed

i think i ll try this time. but, im not sure which rules i want to use. b/c feels a bit limiting at time, but, im hardly a ps (or, in this case, gimp 2) master.

Should I assume that if I am still alive in the other tournament, I am automatically qualified for this new one? Is this correct?

Not yet. If you make the final, you automatically qualify for the next tournament. You will have to qualify for the next one if you dont make the finals. Since it is a 5 day deadline for the semi-finals, and a 9 day deadline for the qualifying, you have an extra 4 days to make a qualifying entry. If you make it to the finals, then your qualifying entry will not need to be put into the poll.

Yes, 2 seperate polls. One for each division. Since the final 4 from the first tournament automatically qualify for the next tournament, that means the top 14 entries form each poll, will go to the first round.

You came up with the idea of the tournament, so you shouldnt need to 'qualify' like the rest of us :) ... just push in, I say 👍
 
yea enter man... i mean who chooses who qualifies anyways? you? like your not gonna pick your own... just enter. but if you take me out first round ima gonna be pissed! hahahaha jk...:)

Is there any theme for the shots? I've been sick with strep these past weeks so I didn't get around to any shot's so I was gonne enter this tonight. Will you tell us if we made it, or will we know if our name is in the list for Round2?

I am putting all the qualifying entries in 2 polls. The top 14 from each poll will be in the tournament. So this isnt even round 1 yet.
