The smoke has already been mentioned, but to see the poorness in all its glory, spin out with a Kart and watch your kart driver become a SNES sprite.
 
How about all the replays having 1-2s cut off at the end? :(
That's pretty nasty and it annoys me a lot as you miss the moment when you cross the finish line, your time being displayed, etc...
Do you guys think this can/will be fixed?
 
Frequently, when playing multiplayer, you'll be locked in a server and cant quit unless you quit the whole game and start it up again. This is very annoying.
 
When using a G25, I've noticed bugs with any time an AI driver takes over for a pitstop or race start (rally special events). If you hold the clutch before the start it'll sometimes hold the car in neutral and the game won't know what to do. Your car will just sit there until the start.

Very frustrating when you forget and you lose a few seconds or your AI driver just sits there forever...
 
I was racing the FF Challenge race at Deep Forest in my stock Mazda Demio. It was a crazy race, and I only just won.. Or so I thought. It never came up with finish, never awarded me my trophy and I couldn't do anything to get out of the race, so I was stuck watching my car go around Deep Forest at 80 KMP/H for 30 minutes until I just turned off my PS3.

I think this happened because I was looking behind me as I went over the line. Anybody else had this happen?
 
If all GT PSP glitches are transferred to GT5, then I assume that the Veyron spoiler glitch is in.

Drive the Veyron in a circuit where it can go to 230mph, I suggest Circuit de la Sarthe unchicaned. Change to roof cam. Just before you hit 230mph, look back so you can see the engine bay and the spoiler. At 230, the spoiler will go down faster than the supports that hold it, so it looks like the supports penetrate the spoiler.

Try it out.
 
When you have upgraded your car with new parts and exit the tuning shop, it says "Saving". If you exit the game (without hitting the save button) and restart, nothing you've done in tuning has been saved. So what is the game actually saving when you exit the shop?
 
I got tired of waiting for the Top gear challenge with the buses to unfreeze. I turned off my PS3 (or so I thought )and went out. When i come back i noticed that the console was still on. When i turn on the TV the main PS3 menu is telling me that "the hard disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored" every time i accept this it just keeps going back to the same restore menu. GT5 killed my PS3 :(
 
I noticed on the Top Gear track Lotus event that none of the cones appear in the rear view mirror or in the exterior rear view.
 
I unlocked a go-kart and a Yaris for completing the first A-Spec event. I picked them both up from the delivery point, but only the Kart appears in my garage.
 
This happened in the IB-5 licence test (High Speed Blind Corners on Tokyo Route 246). Normally the test starts after the bot driver clears the first corner, but one time after restarting the test it started instantly. I had no time to react and the car slammed in to the wall causing DQ. Not a major bug but it was kinda funny.
 
In the World Compact Car Race you don't need a compact car. Very strange, they should have called it "World any car of your choice but you'll race against absolute drivel Race".
 
According to the data in My Garage, my PDi Kart has no victories. Although I won several kart races with it.

And I can tune a classic car like the Alfa Sprint Speciale with a sport catalyst and chiptuning...

Pictures are named by location rather than file name when exported.

When you look at the pictures you've taken in the game they each have a unique file name however when you export them to XMB they are named by location (regardless of how many pics are at said location) rather than using that unique file name.

As a result when I copy them onto my flash drive the PS3 itself has to rename then copy all the duplicate files with the same name. Not the end of the world but I don't think it's how it was intended to work.
 
Is anyone experiencing this issue?, it seems that after the update, I can't get pass lvl 11, whenever i gain exp from a race, it goes back to the original exp after i finish a race.
 
Not sure if this is a glitch or intended, but if you use a unlocked paint, to paint another car, its gone afterwards.

I guess you only unlock one gallon?
 
I had a huge collision with a few old muscle cars and one of the cars had a screaming engine sound that sticked with me for several minutes, until the point I had another huge collision. Really weird, but it happened.
 
On Sarthe (no chicanes) I was drafting a pack of other cars down the main straight when they all hit the brake as we passed where the 2nd chicane normally lies. Makes overtaking easy but kind of ruins the fun.

The minimap also makes a twist around the chicanes, as if you were already turning into the chicane. This happens on the no-chicanes version, which is distracting as well.

Everything I said are true facts... and pure %100 :tdown:Failure:tdown: on the part of KAZ/PD/SONY on these point.The game is (sloppy put together) <--- get it ?

BUT YES THE GAME CAR PHYSICS IS GOOD. All other aspects are a shame.

I've had something a bit like that, i had someone else's engine noise or crash noise locked with me for quite some time.
 
Quite early on I saw a Ford Ka in the used car dealership but when i clicked it, it was another car (a Silvia i think, or definitely a Nissan)

If this is the same every time I would guess the Ka is not available, until they fix this.
 
2nd gear issue, is not hardware, we are getting same on fanatec pwts... It looks like it's by design :(

Data logger, is also crashing for me, play it thru to end, it will repeat play... but no controls work, then once it gets to end again it will loch the graphics too.. I think to work around you have to stop it before it ends lap
 
Sorry if someone already posted this but I noticed in the Premium Prius '09, in cockpit view when you reach over 200kph, the first number for the speed turns to 0 instead of 2. For example when driving 215kph, the speedo says 015kph.
 
why does the nissan silvia in the license test have a HOOD VIEW?
why do the other 90% of cars have the ROOF view????

Why don't they add HOOD VIEW to every car?
Would be fantastic for the standard cars
