Online races, racers not showing up on track?

Has this happened to anyone else?

I was hosting an online race with 9 other participants. The race went fine, and from my prospective everything was perfect. After the race was over, several of the others complained that they only saw 2-3 other cars on track (should have been 8) the entire race. Also, on my replay it shows many of the cars with severe damage, but on their end they had no damage and ran the race without incident.

I host the race weekly and this is only happening since the 1.07 patch.

Thoughts?

Our league had the same issue last Sunday. 10 racers involved and my screen only showed 5. Others had all ten going. We had a small argument of who actually came in second.

Its been on going since the game come out. I would be nice to show the connection per user to boot the laggers

I race with Brad, i'm one of the guys that only saw 3 other racers for both races. I had no damage after both races also, but supposedly I battled the crap out of an Elan and Alfa and the same problem,even though I came in second for me, another invisible guy passed me for second so I came in third, which isn't a big deal at all, it was just confusing.

Online races can have some really funny glitches.
I had a weird Monza race the other day, I should start from the 2nd according to the setting, however I started the 1st, half way on the first straight, accelerating to 100mph & I now need to break into the chicane...I don't know what others in the race saw.

Connection issues, not that unusual unfortunately.

All you can do is ensure that all users have open NAT and have forwarded the correct ports to their PS3. Their PS3 needs a static address for this to be fully effective.
