New year, new Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

Like every year, Yamauchi assisted at the assignment of the Gran Turismo Trophy.
The winning car will appear in the GT saga.
In the past 3 years, only Italian cars have been awarded.

2008 Lamborghini Miura P400 Bertone Prototype '67
2009 Alfa Romeo GIULIA TZ2 carrozzata da ZAGATO '65
2010 Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T. 1 '52

This year there was a bit of Italy... but the winning car is American...

Plymouth XNR Ghia Roadster '60

That is a cool looking car. It kinda combines contemporary modern design with the old styling of the 50's and 60's 👍.

Looks like a lightweight car combined with a muscle car and left without a roof...contrasting mix. Looks pretty sweet though. Also, where is the Abarth anyway?

If you're curious, this is the Abarth that won it last year.

That light at the front is class  But it also really does look sleek. Too bad it isn't in yet :irked: The other two winners are OK though, Miura is Miura so it's worth it :D and the Giulia TZ2? Best car in the game. Would imagine the Abarth wouldn't be quite as fast as the others but it would still be class to have :D Plymouth would be great to have considering the Cuda and Superbird didn't make it to premium. Would probably be as fast those two as well :D

I would get your hopes up that it will be put in GT5, I don't think any future GT Trophy winners will be until maybe the next instalment to the series.

Its a nice quirky looking car though 👍

Interesting choice, I like it personally, although it isn't conventionally attractive but then almost none of the cars Virgil Exner designed ever were, most of them actually being pretty outlandish and never boring (and he was an interesting character himself too), instead of being things of outright beauty they often succeed in bringing a smile to your face.
