Load the track at 14.00. Race will start around 15.00.

I'm not sure about the time rate setting..

We'll race for about 1h 45 minutes today, so to simulate 24 hours, what should I set the time progress at?

D1: 1472-6118-4259-7715-2205

GV27
Around 6 or 7, maybe? I'm really not sure.

13/14

1440 minutes in 24 hrs

105 minutes in 1hr 45 min

1440/105= 13.7

Every real world minute game passes 13.7

So we race for 105 min times 13.7 = 1438.5 which is close to 1440. Which is 24hr cycle.

Thanks!!

Btw, Dom can't watch his replay now, but I swear that my time is 5:51.169...

Sheet updated!

I'm pole, BrosifDuder 2nd, Ansem 3rd and Wardez 4th. The rest is as prevoiusly stated.

Guys, real sorry about the late post, but I'm having to pull out as some personal things have just gone down which sucks ass cause I was really looking forward to this track..

Best of luck guys 👍

Right, that makes sense. I thought it should be a little less than 10, when it's actually (and logically so!) a bit more. :)

C'mon Mule hurry up man!!! Us D2 regulars gotta show the D1 guys we can do this. C'mon man!!!! You gotta be in this m8.

Crash on the first lap... my bad luck streak continues :(

Two more crashes on the second lap. Great, just great.

I know you're all looking forward to it, so I update my crash count: Fourth, by lap 5 out of 12.

Two more crashes on lap 7!! Way to go.

Four more on lap 9. To be honest I'm rather impresed. That makes it 10 crashes that damaged my car, already.

Two crashes on lap 10. Total of 10.

Crash at "Hatzenbach" lap 2. Engine HS. Ok.
Parked at "Aremberg" for 5mn about.

Then I leaved the track and i'm watching the race. Nice work of Tony and Ansem atm. 👍

I've only just woken up. Trying to stay up to watch the 24 when you have an early race isn't a good idea.

Really sorry guys :(

It's ok Mule, we understand you try so that's all that matters. No pressure here! Means a lot for you to be honest for sure 👍

Super congratulations to Jamen (Brosif) for winning! It was probably the race of his life I'm sure. Not easy to keep Tony behind you and the gap at the end of the race between them was only 3 seconds, which is minimal considering the track and endurance length. Awesome race for them.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my results. Started 4th, crashed on the first big turn (I completely forgot to practice with the draft, so hard to follow people, had to learn quick) then I was able to stay consistent, overtake Muzz and CSL after putting in some good laps, then Dennis had an incident and had to crawl back to the pits so I ended up coming back to 4th.

Tony finished 2nd so that's a great result for our team, now I just need to keep it up for the next two races and we can clinch the championship!

Congrats Brosif!! GJ!! :D 👍

D2 Race Results are up.

paul started on pole caught some dirt on the inside of Metzgefeld and then welsh was in front. Was tailing him close through Wipperman got lots of draft wash and had to take some lawn and slot back into third.
Looks like dre did what I was going to do and drafted round the nsx on the Hohe straight. He had some trouble at the beginning of the loop on lap2 and welsh and I snuck by. Ran up through flugplatz and down the foxhole and welsh got a slow jump out of Adenauer Forst so I went into the lead before Metzgefeld.

After that I just put in one hot lap, pitted, and the dark came. First time for me actually, never bothered to try eine kleine nachtmusik auf dur nurburgring before. The GP track with the Motul's horrid headlights was pretty harsh. And the first run down to the foxhole or between bergwerk and klostertal was quite terrifying. Actually got some fear in my belly playing a video game. So that was cool. But then I just rolled along doing a nice easy 8:35 pace through the dark. Was pleased to see the sun at lap 8. Did some 8:18-8:20 pace and was kinda bored so I decided to have some fun with the 4 minute lead.

Went after an 8:10 on lap 10; car got strange in Kallenhard and I did a nice big drift. Ticked the wall with the nose and got engine damage (no wheels.. just the engine :/ ). Drove it in with a top speed of 135mph  but it drove great so no big deal took about a minute out of the lead.

Pitted to fix the damage and went out for a warm up on lap 11 and tried to get a smoker on lap 12. Locked up going into the tough left-right Breidscheid section before Bergwerk and clipped the outside wall which wonked my RF wheel. Finished up the race nice and easy.

Had really high hopes this weekend... but eh; that's racing. On to next week. Really happy to see the team do well though. 👍

And after screwing up his last lap never slowed down just 5 seconds so I could finish :P. I was on my limit that last lap just to try and get under 3mins so I could finish then half spun on the mini carusel on got damaged ended 3 13 behind and was at the last corner when I got stopped :(. Just read the end properly no wonder I was lost a few seconds at the start of the lap then gained them back after you had you off then I had mine damn.

Yeah Litch, our lap with the car broken was kinda fun lol.
The race was a completely mess for me :(
I had engine damage 4 or 5 times, gotta be more consistent. Maybe 3 weeks without GT5 to come back on Nurb wasn't the best idea :P

Impressive Snake ;)

Not impressive, really. More like... sad. :(

I have some deep thinking to do. Things have to improve over the next two races, or I may really not hold enough will to continue racing. I've had the three worst races of my life three weeks on a row, and I'm not having fun.

I come here to race for fun, and one thing's for sure; if I'm not having fun, there's no point on doing this. You guys are stuck with me for the two remaining races, that's for sure. After that, I'll just see.

I thought I couldn't feel worse than I felt back when Monza. Life has proven me wrong once again; Spa and Nürburgring certainly added to the depression.

GV Suzuka will be good and Indy should be good too :). As those are 2 tracks I very much like :D.

I'll be happy for you, then! You deserve some good results, too, man. :)

To be honest, my only real hope is Suzuka*. And we all know what Suzuka is a pretty demanding lady. You can drive a flawless race and easily blow it up on the very last lap.

*While Indy Road is a track that should suit my car, at least on the infield part, I'm just not comfortable with slow corners.

Meh I had a horor run last time at Suzuka while learning how to run and race the Denso Lexus but now that im comfortable with the Lexus im looking forward to it :D.

Hopefully something good will come out of both Indy and Suzuka...

And while I'm at it; could anyone give me a bit of a reference as for Indy times? Estimated D1 time, pole time, etc.? I'm starting to put some laps there.

WSGTC S2 pole was an Arta NSX on a 1:28.6 and times ranged from 28.6-31.6, so anywhere in that region :).

I recovered well in the rain after my unlucky lag damage on the warm up lap and my other crash on lap 7 ;).

Thanks guys! It definitely was my best win so far. I will give a full write-up tomorrow after I can sit down and type something up. 👍
