Bigger credit limits or bigger garage space

After checking threads I find that we can only hold 96 cars in our garage.Right now I have 85 cars,(including 3 F-1'S),my credits are closing in on 2 mill. again , forcing me to go buy more cars. Here's my question - what do we do when our garages reach maximum capacity , and our credits are stuck at 2 mill.? Just keep on racing , and say forget about our credits and deal with it (obviously),or would the next update which is rumoured to be about cars and tracks bump up our credit line and garage capacities, both of which could , maybe , hopefully be transferable to GT5 , when it comes out. Does any-body have any insights on this one ?
 
Haven't gave it any thought yet. Nice of you to bring that up. I bought everything once and just bought like 9 F-1's
 
I should think that the credits in the game wont have anything to do with buying the tracks and the cars IF we have to pay for them or IF they even come.

IF they do come then i assume you will have to pay with real money like GT-TV.

Damn! I wanted to buy every car in every color. ;_;

I think both should be increased drastically! Why the hell not? I mean, there's limits to how big of numbers any computer can hold, but I guarantee you that the PS3 could keep track of Credit counts way higher than anyone would even get close to. If they wanted to put a cap on credits, it should be at least 100 Million, if not 100 Billion. It's not that hard to do.

Regarding the garage limit, this may be a harder technical feat. But c'mon, it can definitely hold much more than the current limit. I suppose they have the limit at 96 so people can have all the cars and then a few multiples, and not use too much space for the game save. :/

I thought the garage can hold 146 cars not 96, I already have over 100 so it's not 96.

Really , that is good to know. Like I said , I checked threads and all I could find was that somebody said 96. Still the credits cap needs to bumped up in my opinion.
 
Yeah I don't know why they set it so low either. I really hope the next update does bring more cars and tracks though - especially tracks.

If I could choose we would get a really old ferrari f1 car, then we would get la sarthe and nurburgring. Something like it at least. Although just random extra race tracks would do it for me :)
 
I have 152 cars in my garage and if I try to purchase another car, it says my garage is full. Plus my credits are at max, so I just race online for the fun of it. In a future update I would like to have the garage expanded to enable more cars, as we are probably going to have more cars made available in the future.

Who knows, maybe they will round off GT5P will 100 cars all up, then again they haven't promised us any extra cars or tracks.
 
The only car we have seen that is likely to be given to us is the new Lotus Evora. But then again are PD hiding more from us ;)

To me it would only make sense to expand our credit lines and garage space , just in case the autumn update does give us these items , otherwise we will be selling off a lot of our "old cars" to bring in the new ones

I agree with you on the expanded garage space, but as for expanding credits, well i'd say thet you can win plenty of cash in online races, provided you can get up there in the podium positions.
 
I'm don't know about the garage, but I'm sure I hear someone say that the reason there was a 2 Million limit was because the credits would be carried over to GT5 when it comes out. Maybe I'm wrong, but who knows?

I think that we will get a large amount carried over to GT5, but maybe not the 2 Mil. I think a few cars will be carried over aswel. PD weren't over generous with data carried over from GT4.

IMO it would only be a small amount of cash (like GT concept did with GT3 and GT4P did with GT4), but like those games I never used it.
 
I reckon a small amount of cash and a few cars will be all we will get. PD are tight when it comes to carry-overs from prologues.
 
I don't think we will be able to carry over any cars. I would like 35,000 extra start money though.
