Hmmm, interesting thread. My collection is predominately Hot Wheels as I feel like Matchbox has fallen off on quality, but here is most of my 1:64 collection:

That's the "good quality" part of my collection comprising about one third of it. Most of them old Matchbox models, accompanied by some Majorette and Hot Wheels models and there even seem to be a couple of Siku Super Series.

I do not collect them myself (per say) My Girl Friend collects all Hot wheels that come in the color purple. they are all in the boxes never been opened...

That pickup truck in the back with the red roll bars was one of my favorites as a kid.
 
Is it alright to wash toy cars with water with hand washing sope or just clean them with water?
 
Using soap isn't going to hurt anything I wouldn't think. That said it won't do much either unless there is somehow caked-on mud.
 
Anyone have a few Maisdo small cars?, at some point they were making them in this size... I have a CLK-GTR made by them.

i played with them as toys in my early childhood. the last car i ever bought was a 350z. then i gave them all to my nephews since they like cars.

my personal favorites were 2 clk-gtr's in silver and red, and a blue panoz gtr-1.

My only matchbox car is my brothers fairly old 911 gt1.

Well I have a lot and I actually put it in a box and I couldn't find it!!!! :(

Most of them are old... But the Maserati is quite old too... The last time around I spend money for Hot Wheels was in 2006 and the last car I bought was Maserati Quattroporte...

Then decided to spend most of my money for my laptop :) I can't find them, forgot where did I put the box!!! :(
