Troubleshooting missing car icons

I have a problem with my GT5 game data.

Previously I managed to download GT5 1.05 update at my home (that have a very slow connection and sometimes disconnected) and, well, when the progress reaches 50%, then download progress disconnected. And I experience this twice.

Feeling frustated, I found a solution that called PSN DM as download manager for PS3 updates (support resume).

But...after downloading (yes the PSNDM says download is complete and ready to install) and moving the update data from my laptop to the PS3, the system is installing, then...it errors. The system said the download is corrupted.

Well, I dont want to download the update at that time, I just launch my GT5 at offline mode.

But I wonder when startup, GT5 recreate system files (?)

Then I check my cars at the garage and...some car icons are appear but some gone away. Just blank.

Then I quit the game and check the previously GT5 game data (1.04) and...it is displayed as 'Corrupted data'.

Then I am deleted it, and reinstalling that long-time-40-minutes-installation game data to the PS3 HDD.

After installation is done, i check back if my car icons restored...but still gone.

Then today I just updated the GT5 game data to 1.05, but it still same...some cars icons are not appear.

Any solution to fix this?

All you have to do is press triangle on the car that's missing the icon and choose 'create thumbnail'. That should fix it if I understood you correctly.

that happened to my before and after update, I just turn on the game and it randomly has no image, had no update problem, I just thought it was the save data screwing me over, then when I typed it into google, this came up! thanks Organ-Donor () you saved my missing icon off cars!
