Clean Racing Super GT

Hey guys i often hold Clean Racing rooms that always run 502HP and most of us use race the Super Gt cars.

If your up for some Clean Racing join us.

current room number is:

1472 6118 3701 4254 7088

Every time i make a new room i'll post it up here for the people who would like to join đź‘Ť

The Xanavi Nizmo Z can go up to 534 after break in and oil change. The next highest is the GTR at 519 i think.

I just bought one of the Honda NSX's and I oil changed it and am currently breaking it in and tuning it. I have 493 hp at the moment, anyone know how high the hp will get up to after a full break in?

Good Racing đź‘Ť

My Stealth NSX GT500 is about 515

I think the different weights balance out the HP

All of the GT500 cars have the same weight. It's the handling characteristics that make each car unique. The NSX imo is that hardest one to handle, a bit tail happy. The GTR hugs the turns while the Lexus lacks a bit of top end speed. The Nismo Z meanwhile has pretty good acceleration. We've tested the cars and they all seem pretty similar in Lap Times. It's up to the driver to adapt the changes in handling from one car to the other.

Nicely said, and your right, these cars are nicely balanced, and totally up to the drivers to be fast rather than cars. I'll definantly start looking into running Regulation as 522HP and get the cars upgraded with turbo etc.

Also better quality video of that Ring gp video is coming shortly + more!

You should keep them stock :) Stay true to the series.

I have kept mine stock so far, not even done an oil change. However from what people have said so far i understood their running the turbo to push their cars up to 500+hp

At the moment im running 478 on the sc430

So whats the fairest thing to do oil change/wear in. No mods whats so ever?

How many miles on the Lexus? Im sure when its fully broken in, its going to be somewhere near 500 (High 490s)

the nsx will get somewhere around 505 -510 once broken in , if you do engine stage three on it it will have 532 - i own all the super gt cars except fot the lexus sc

Yea the Z puts down 556 lbs of torque while all the other super-gt cars are around 400.

i think you should try the limit at 532. because a stock Nismo Z with an oil change still wont be under 522.

I will join your lobby next time its up. Me and my friends also race super-gt cars all the time

@ bermuda kid.. Hold on so your allowed to do engine upgrades but no turbo? I thought the point is running the cars stock, with no mods whats so ever, seems to make most sense to me that way.

New video just uploaded, not amaizingly clean but nice battle at the end.

We are actually still debating whether to ban the Nismo Z altogether because there is no set limit of 532, instead theres 522 and 542.

If i set it to 542, there's a ton of space for every other cars to cheat and reach beneath it. If i set it to 522, it pretty much covers all the other cars with no room to upgrade any longer after break-in.

What do you use to record?

That first race came off great! I'd love to run with you guys if everyone has the same style car like that. The replay looked like very realistic racing, and it really looked like a lot of fun.

The 2nd race put me off a bit, TBH. In a lot of online races where un-clean driving occurs, the end results are decided within the first lap or so (even the first few corners). Whoever was in the purple #1 car basically ruined it for 3 or 4 cars, and nearly took out the car the camera was following as well. I guess that's fine if everyone's cool with that, but I'm usually not if someone says they want to have a "clean" race.

People need to understand, if you really want to race clean, keep it in your pants on corners where a lot of cars are involved. Even just 2 or 3 involved on a corner at the same time is enough to warrant clean racing over gaining a position. I'd rather have a truly competitive clean race and finish a place or two lower than to have a race where I ended up placing higher because I took somebody out.

I love the Super GT cars and clean racing. A casual racing room would be great to complement Masi's racing league. Here is a couple of ideas.

Create a private lounge and we can all exchange PSN's through this thread. This will reduce the amount people entering the room with a different mindset and entering with other cars. It will also make it easier to find the room and no need to post each time here.

Tires. Masi's league has it unrestricted which I think is good for longer races with pit stops. Nissman ran a room with Hard tires which upt the game to a different level, perhaps a tad too difficult. Medium might be good. Less grippier forces us to drive more carefully and makes for cleaner racing.

I was on a great fun room yesterday (not Super GT cars). They had the grid based on previous race result in reverse order. No need for "qual laps" and they ran races with only a 5 minutes break in between. Made for a lot of overtaking and many many races without wait.

I think it would be fun to allow the JDC (older Super GT cars), and perhpas stealth cars. I saw some in the video. It will make for bigger variation in the field, but some of them are faster than the GT500 cars you can buy from the dealer. Not sure about this one though.

HP. It needs to be higher than 502hp as most Super GT cars will go higher after a proper break-in still in stock. But then it doesn't matter that much. Pick a number and let us fiddle with the cars to try to get to an optimum. That could be fun.

Just some thoughts. I think I saw your room yesterday but couldn't enter because I have no Super GT cars sub-502hp, all still with stock engines.

Cheers

Hey guys, what are all of the names that make this car? In the dealership it seems like it's just Lexus and Nissan. Any others I can look for?

Edit: Looks like there's a Subaru in the dealership, but the HP is much lower, and I guess you're using the Toyotas? They have different weights.

Okay, well I bought the orange Lexus ENEOS SC430 '08 car. So add me on PSN and I'll race any time I am available. Sweet car. :)

Edit: Whoops, accidentally added the unremovable engine upgrade, so I bought the red and white Denso Dunlop Sard SC430 '08 for online since the other won't make the HP limit now.

no no, i was only saying what the hp can go to on the car.
in my lobby i dont set the hp limit high enough to allow any engine mods or turbos.

i only set it to 532 to allow people to drive the Nismo Z if its not fully broken in and some of the older JGTC cars and non premium SUPER-GT cars.

i have a SUPER-GT lobby open right now

1472-6118-3787-3246-8740

room name is SUPER-GT Racing (GTP)

Meh, I just sat down to do some studying, and I'm on pause at lap 47/90 on my endurance race. If anyone wants to race GT cars tonight, I'm up for it. I'll be available probably around 6pm Mountain Time (GMT -7).

@ss_1182
First race was much cleaner since we had about 5 cDc members in the race, the other race was almost full of public players and alot of them were bashing right from the start.

@cool_colj

cool video dude looked like a fun race, i think that softs really are too grippy aswell, might try run hard or mediums tonight :)

Also another video i uploaded today.

Edit: Actually, I need a car. I can have one within approximately 25 minutes if you are still racing at that time.

You can use the default GT500 cars though once your in the multiplayer screen you have the choice of the Calsonic GTR or Castrol Supra
