Is anybody else having troble with PSN?

I cant log in or can I get onto Playstation UK to see if there is maintenance :ouch:

Well i'm logged in now but something is going on imo, everyday since those hacker b****** took PSN down I get issues logging in (you have been signed out of the playstation network message) :grumpy:
 
For some reason every time I fire up my PS3 it fails to connect to PSN and gives me some error code but moments later I retry and it connects. It's never done this before the past twenty-four hours but now does it every time I start up my system, so something odd is going on but it hasn't prohibited me from connecting.
 
I've been having trouble connecting to PSN as well. I've gone so far as resetting my entire wireless system, along with the settings I have on the PS3 to no avail. Haven't been able to get on in the past few weeks, really frustrating as I'm was trying to set up trades!:ouch:


Edit could it be the fault of the Fatty vs. Slim. I run a Fatty 60gig (upgraded to 500gig ya'll!) that was rebuilt by Sony not 3 months ago, just wondering if that's the problem.
 
I can't log in since two days. Internet is ok; not PSN. I'll try to switch connection to my second isp later in the day but i'm affraid that won't change much.

Update: My second ISP fail to connect PSN too...

I have never really had trouble with my PSN until last night were it all went bonkers before a league race and would not let me on PSN.
Its letting me sign in today but when I do a connection test it picks up everything until it gets to download and upload speed which then comes back as failed for some reason.
I have not tried to play online yet.
 
yep something is wrong with it or hackers are ****ing about with it. I can log in fine with one account but then if I change accounts it wont let me in and says I am signe dout of PSN.

Like I said earlier I was having issues with the UK playstation aswell site but every other site was fine.....
 
I can sign in on both my PS3 and the PS website without a problem.
There is nothing wrong as far as I can see.

The hackers have stopped attacking the Sony websites completely anyway now.

Did an error code come up or something when you failed to sign in?
 
i keep turning my ps3 on and it says could not connect but then i manually go and click connect and it works. so weird
 
PSN has been acting up here too yesterday and today. I keep getting logged out with error message. Then I log back in fine. Was on PSHome yesterday to check out GT5 gear and couldn't log in and when I did finally, I got logged out with error message- then could log back in but got disco'd from time to time.

I just turned on PS3 today and instantly got logged out with error message, but logged back in fine. My internet connection is perfect. There's definitely something going on. And if you aren't having issues that doesn't automatically mean PSN is fine.

For instance I just fired up GT5 and even though I was signed into PSN, when GT5 started it said I wasn't. Then I had to try like 10 times to sign in, in GT5. I kept getting an error, I didn't write them down, but they weren't always the same.

Then I finally did get signed in, and stayed signed in no problem- but there definitely is something up w/ PSN, and maybe it isn't affecting everyone but it's affecting me.
 
BWX you aren't the only one having login troubles. I was having no troubles today till about an hour ago. Now I can't get logged in to the PSN and when I was able to get on the PSN after leaving a lobby/GT5 room I would get an error message unable to connect to server for GT5.

Yup same here 5 minutes ago again today.

I fire up PS3, I'm not logged in, I get an error. I log in fine manually. Seems like they are logging out everyone who isn't sitting there manually logging in. It's like they're trying to save bandwidth or something.

Yesterday I was on GT5 b-spec grinding way longer than usual.. I had trouble logging in at first, but once I was logging in, I stayed logged in for several hours no problem.

Something is up w/ PSN.
 
This weekend I had some issues after I exited an online race and a couple other friends of mine in the UK had the same problem. I don't recall the entire message but it said it couldn't connect to the server, then it said ID=2.0 at the end. I had to restart my PS3 for it to go away and it did come back a second time a few hours later.

Yeah I get that ID=2.0 at the end once in GT5 on initial startup, then attempt to sign in 2 times manually, then get regular error. Then I sign in manually again and it works every time without fail. It's the exact same pattern of sign-in errors every time I start GT5 or start PS3.

PSN still down??? I'm at work, so I just wanna know....
 
I got so sick of manually logging in because auto log in isn't auto log in that I just went back to good 'ol dependable live.

Auto log-in is broken completely for the past 4 days.

You can manually login, but you get errors, then after a couple tries you get logged in.

Same thing every single time I start PS3, same exact routine every single time I start up GT5.

Your mileage may vary.

Mine auto logs in just fine. Maybe takes a smidge of a second longer than usual but still completes with no errors.
