I found an interview with YK here, I don't know if it has been posted yet but I did read something interesting.
I like the camera, I race however with the 1st person cam cause I can't judge speed/distance & how to turn the corners. But the rooftop camera does quite give you a different view on the turning of the car and going into corners. When you check out some replays in prologue with the rooftop cam, not all cars' cameras aim ahead of you, most cars which are setup with the nose down will not give you enough view to look ahead of you. Like with for example the Skyline. The NSX doesn't have this problem, but I'm sure PD will fix this if they decide to include a rooftop cam. I just wish they included a 1st person cam where you could see the bonnet and front of the car. Including the interior would be great but as we all know that's not gonna be in GT4. What do you all think? Place the camera just after the steering wheel or something. In GT3 if you sometimes drive exactly in your ghost you'd see the front of the car, I though it was really cool racing that way."And to answer your question regarding any additional camera angles - I am considering a rooftop camera."
