Cool ****. I've seen the copper Evolution somewhere before, whose is it? I want that manifold.. :)

edit: I'm guessing it belongs to Turbo Trix due to the guys shirt in the last picture..

Any idea if John Shepherd was there with his Talon? That car's just insane.

I'm seriously considering a first gen Talon as my next project car, and your pics aren't helping the urge one bit...

That copper EVO is painted "Lamborghini Orange" for all you technical guys, and yes it is a TurboTrix car.

That was the downfall of the whole shootout this year because Shepherd wasnt there, he was in Florida running in the NOPI races, which is a bigger cashout and points are involved. But I have seen him run lots of times at past shootouts, and his car is just insane. He just set the AWD record by getting into the 8.60's.

I encourage you to get a 1G, you will love it, there is nothing like running 12.60's, driving home, and getting back in at 7am to go to work :)

Been there, done that, with 2 driven wheels, even dipped in the 11s. If I get a Talon, it'll have to be insanely quick.

Its easily done. It will only cost about 10 grand to get the car into high 10's if you do it all yourself.
