Which are the rarest used cars?

i got an evo VI GSR T.M.E., at the same time there was an RS available. im about 500 days into the game.

I've seen a few odd colors of used cars pop up. I bought a yellow R34 Skyline that I haven't seen again, I don't think you can buy it new that color. Also I read somehwhere there is a white BMW M Coupe that only comes around once. There are probably more like that.

The Grand Sport and the Tommy Makinen are not so rare as they appear several times in the car cycle.

In my experience a 'rare' car only appears a handful of times in the 700 day cycle, and I found some of the following to be such rare cars:

Lancia Delta Evoluzione (or Evolutione as it is wrongly spelled in the JPN version)
Renault 5 Turbo '85 (road car)
Isuzu 117
The three Fiat 500's (R, L and F)
Honda S500, S600, S800 e N360
Toyota Celica '70
Nissan Skyline '67
Mazda AR-1
Subaru 22B (not as rare as in GT2 tough)
Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 (road car)
The original Lancer (pre-Evolution)
The first rotary engine car by Mazda (forgot the name)
Mercury Cougar '67

There are of course more, but this means the one lot that offers most rarities is the 1980's one, basically where you find all the old pre-1980 beauties

The Bathurst is extremely rare.

Some more I can add:

Honda Z Act '70
Nissan Silvia CSP311 '65
Nissan Skyline 1500 Deluxe '63
Nissan Fairlady 2000 '68
Mitsubishi Galanto GTO MR '70
Jensen Interceptor MKIII '74 (is this the same as the gold license prize?)
Lotus Carlton
Nissan 200SX S14 '96
Sileighty '98 (only saw this ONCE and got it)
Nissan Skyline M.N.P. II '01

I went though an entire 700 day cycle, mostly screwing around, winning the Deutchmiester to make money to buy rare cars, now I see there are more that I need to go look for... :banghead:

RX-7 Bathurst, Peugeot 205... You will be mine...

Yes Vorian, you do win the Sil80 in that series. As is the case with many other cars, i.e. the MkIII, the Renault 5 Turbo, the S800, the Cougar XR-7 and the big Volvo 240. It looks like many prize cars are actually also available in the used lots; only difference must be the prize cars are new with zero miles on them.

I have the FD Bathurst R running low 1'01 on Tsukuba with 321hp and JGTC spec weight.

(exactly 1100kg)

Although, I have yet to see a red Evo 6 TME with the pinstripe down the sides or the Impreza 22B, and it took me like 270 days on one save and 80 days on another save just to get the Cool Gray Metallic WRX Type-R.

Just got it like 45 minutes ago :D :D

Whoops, I meant Opel Tigra 1.6i... :dunce:

which by the way you can find in the late 90's lot probably once a month gamewise, defintely not that rare. At least in my PAL version, where it's nearly always listed alongside its Vauxhall counterpart.

Some of the rarest I've seen:

WRX STi version V, but one that is not a 22B.
Fiat Tigra 1.6
Nissan 240RS
Datsun 510

where and when you spot the 510 i didn't know that was in the game unless it under a different name and if so what the name

I must have overlooked it alot of times then, because I had quite a few cars by then and was buying them mostly in the used lots.

It shows up as a '69 Bluebird 1600 Deluxe. I know I was looking for it for quite a few rotations before I finally spotted one, whereas the '79 910 shows up almost every time.

The original rotary engine car I was referring to earlier:

-Mazda 110S (L10B) '68

This has to be one of the rarest and most interesting cars in the game. I got it on the rotation beginning day 407. It's also very beautiful. Mine's white, I'd be interested in finding other colours...
