It feels different :). And you can see the tire too in some car.

camera constant:
0,1,2 : original
5,6 : bird view alternate
10,11,13,14 : under
17,23,29,35,41,47 : rear under

34,28,46: inside cockpit 1
22,40 : inside cockpit 2
52 : inside cockpit 3
12,54 : inside cockpit 4

Wow, how the hell did you do that? Emulator again? Now I'm gonna have to buy one...and race all the 400 cars I've driven over again! :D

Sucahyo, do you have a translation of that code for NTSC 1.0? I tried to translate it to 1.0 but it did not work, for some reason. Maybe it's the version of GameShark (2.3) that I'm using.

Otherwise, your find is absolutely amazing...over 6 years since the game came out!

PB, you are right, it is with emulator.

Pupik, try without converting, since I found out that PAL code for in race camera view is exactly the same:

801FFA8A for PAL and NTSC 1.2.

YOu know what? It's like a view of a ghost car. In other words, sometimes when you're doing a time trial and the ghost sneaks past you..it's the same view as you would see when the ghost is sitting just in front of the car you're actually driving. But Sucahyo has found a way to freeze that camera angle. Does that make sense?

I think it's an alternate camera, but not used because PD feel not up to their standard. Or maybe they use it for testing.

lower bumper camera:

too far, too low rear camera

much too far rear camera

Thats true, I tried some of those cameras today and it's really cool driving
from inside of your car but the bird eye(number 5) is nice too:).

That makes me jealous. I just moved into a house last week and the common area is where the only TV is. Long story short--I didn't game at all this weekend! It just doesn't feel right when I'm gaming and other people are waiting to watch regular TV. I'm pretty sure it's why I have insomnia tonite! I'm looking at Suc's images trying to get my racing fix! :guilty:

I know how it feels when I can't play, it's a good thing that you can always rent computer in here, or PS2. I just need to bring my GT2 disc and emulator.

Hope you can play again soon :).

It's okay. In my old house I had nothing in common with my roommates so I wound up staying in my room a lot. In my new house the people are cooler, but I don't wanna just move in and start gaming for hours, know what I mean? :sly: There's a guy who might be into racing GT with me, but I'm not sure yet...

That's pimp....I so wish I could do that. Can you imagine that cheat in GT3/GT4?? Wow.
In theory, we should be able to do it with armax. But I never know wether my code will works in real console for GT4 and I don't have GT3. Finding the in car address for GT4 only need an hour, I post some video for in car GT4 using emulator. « very ugly :P.

here:
you see the empty dashboard, with the driver shown in mirror, at the left.

you can see the driver if you look to the left.

No what I ment was it work with NTSC1.2, but the way you and I try
the code we are using GameShark coding anyways.

Yes I know, today I tried to find the right race detection code and I
found one that worked. Here's the code I used.

D00A9CBC 0000
801FFA8A 00xx

Now where the two x's are is where you would put the code to
change the camera, now some cars can use some camera's
and can't use others. Because you might not be able to see
out of your car windshield with some codes.
