I just saw the Bourne Identity with Matt Damon Yesterday, and thought it was a pretty good movie. I had read the book a while ago, which was also good and was curious to see how it translated to film. Some things were changed just to keep it a reasonable length, but one thing was changed for no good reason at all (I won't say what, but it annoyed me because it was all hollwood at the core)
As for the quality of the movie, it was really good. Lots of action, some suspense, and even a little "jumping out of your chair" scaring. Matt Damon (Who I'm not a fan of when he's not in a Kevin Smith movie) was good in his role, and even brought a little humor to the film.
:)

It was a good movie. The car chase could have been better but it still wasn't bad. 4 outta 5 stars.

It was a pretty good car chase considering he was driving the most beat up Mini I've ever seen ;)

yes, that mini would have fallen apart. And have u seen those real police chase videos. The tires always pop, unless the car flipps over due to unexperinced driving. So i figure in realy life those tires would of popped.

I've never read any of the "Bourne..." novels, but I loved the movie. Acting were just superb. Chris Cooper, Matt Damon, Clive Owen, Franka Potente, Brian Cox and that girl from "Save the Last Dance"(I can never remember her name), casting were just unreal. I've been an Doug Liman fan, since his film "Swingers", and he did an great job, and proved to be one of the best directors around.

I've been an James Bond fan for as long as I can remember, but more realistic spy films such as this, are even more appealing to me. If you liked this, I recommend checking out an DVD called "Spartan", starring Val Kilmer. It's not as good as the Bourne Identity IMO, but it still is really good and is even more realistic.

I give "Bourne Identity" an A+.
