  • T - times
  • Any settings discussion.

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 17 Submission ) to (Sphinx):
Please take notice: you have to send 3 times in your PM
Laptime Nissan Fairlady + Laptime Concept by GT= submitting time

  • you can submit only once
  • please include in your submission PM your division, GTP_Tag and Laptime Nissan Fairlady (S1)+ Laptime 350 Z GT Concept by GT (N3) = submitting time
  • the deadline is Monday 2 March 11:59pm GMT
  • if you are unsure of the deadline try this site

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.
Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers ,named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • when a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Good luck,
OLR Admin Team

Two cars eh, now that's mixin' it up..👍.. A bit of maths in there too....

:gtpflag:

Sweet combo, but how am I going to list it in Luxy? I guess you will be posting splits for both cars (nothing hidden this week).

3 separate listings (week 17a for untuned on S1, 17b for tuned on N3, 17c for overall), or
one listing with splits 1 and 2 (t1 and t2 for untuned), 3 and 4 (t1 and t2 for tuned) and laptime for combined?

Any suggestions are welcome before I set up something you won't like.

Thanks 👍

PS. either way, zed, either me or Luxy will be doing the math for you in terms of split additions.

^^^^^^^^^^
This is a complex one for you, either way seems like a lot of work. Can you use two blocks per driver one on top of each other with both splits in each then an overall in the usual T2 spot?
Up to you ....just trying to keep it on one page that's all.

I recommend you just have S2's of both laps, and then add both S2's to find the gap.

How about a Luxy used during week 176, but with only a 2 car entry instead of 3 laps.

Fairlady xx.xxx / xx.xxx
350 RZ xx.xxx / xx.xxx

I believe the tire choice is to equal the times between the cars.
Try it and see. The Fairlady has a faster lap for me so far .

I'll put some times down as a starter... 10 laps in each, both fairly scruffy...

Fairlady
T1 32.368
T2 54.794

350Z tuned
T1 32.362
T2 55.420

Both cars are nice and easy to drive 👍

Good idea, Kenny 👍 that would get us something like THIS. That's what you mean? Others please respond too.

First leaderboard initialised then.

For the leaderboard in that format i think will be a "mile" long if 30 some drivers post times using 3 lines per driver, it would be as long as if 90 drivers were participating on the one line format, 3 times as long as the WRS 15 leaderboard,

I think the T4 setup you used for WRS 6 might work better where the first two T's would be the Fairlady Z and T's 3 and 4 would be the splits for the GT 350 Z so it would look like the same one line format

What does everyone think of that?

I value your opinion, but in WRS during GT4 times we were quite used to using this format for multilap combos. It just takes some getting used to browsing thru the list which will be indeed quite long compared to 'normal' weeks.

Any other thoughts?

I'm going to follow Stotty's lead and put in some early times for this weeks WRS. Plenty of room for improvement in both cars...

Nissan Fairlay Z Version S '07

T1 - 32.614
T2 - 55.586

Amuse/Opera Performance Gran Turismo 350Z RS

T1 - 32.789
T2 - 56.408

I'm not really keen on the N3 tyres on the 350Z especially at HSR but ran a few laps anyway ..

Fairlady - 32.380 / 54.818
>>350Z - 32.426 / 55.530

I don't think I will be putting a lot of time into it due to the error rate and tiptoeing around the turns :scared: .. it just aint my bag baby :sly:

GL to all 👍

Good idea and keeps Luxy looking slim, she probably likes that.
The other format may be very long by weeks end but it adds the splits for us.
Less chance of being a :dunce:.

Good idea, Kenny . That's what you mean?

Exactly, Steven.

Hey I just had a go in these two little beauties. Very easy to drive but the tuned can be a handful trying to get the power on exiting of a turn, better watch that rear.

Fairlady: T1:32.358 T2:54.877

350z Tuned: T:32.433 T2:55.411 (pretty fast but sloppy)

👍

i know it will work either way i just put that out their as a though in case you didn't think of it

i did notice that also witch is a good feature

After 3 quick laps with each car i have splits of:

Fairlady:
T1: 32.753
T2: 55.949

350Z by GT:
T1: 32.708
T2: 56.231

2 cars?! Well, this hould be interesting. Get in one car doing hotlaps and then get into the other to find it's a completely different animal.:sly: I'll give it a go when I get time.:)

My first splits:

Fairlady Z:
T1 - 32.587
T2 - 55.319

Amuse 350Z Tuned:
T1 - 32.386
T2 - 55.695

Still a lot more time to find but a reasonably good first go. :D

Well;

Fairlady Z

34.454
58.897

;\ That's the result of about 50 laps I'd guess....

Don't get it..... feels like its on the edge, tried doing a few barmy aggressive laps just to check, and as expected it won't hold anywhere near the apex. Just drifts wide. (sigh)

/packs wheel away

Nah, I'm just an idiot... was running the Fairlady on N3's instead of S1's ;\

32.764
55.726

5 laps or so,

At least in the right area now :)

Would be useful to those who update luxy, what division you are in and what controller/wheel you are using.
