I borrowed the theme and combo from a BMW series I ran a couple years ago.

This is a nice, easy drive. Should just be a matter of chasing tenths this week. 👍

Viewing your T1 & T2 Lap Time Splits:

You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'.
To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Page' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay' option.

Standard Clean OLR Rules:

  • Rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
  • No contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • If you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • No hybrids
  • No cheating of any kind, these are relaxed races and we are experienced racers, we know what times can be done, and we can read your mind.We will know.
  • Nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 83 Submission ) to (Vaxen):

  • Please submit your time in the following format on a single line:
    [Division#]---M'SS.XXX---GTP_Tag
    (Example-) [division 2]---1'44.678---GTP_EDK
  • you can submit only once
  • please include in your submission PM your division, GTP_Tag and final lap time
  • the deadline is Monday, June 7th @ 11:59pm GMT

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • Failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • Video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Good luck, :gtplanet:

Splits after test session:

T1 21.433
T2 42.707

MadMax

First splits:

21.444
42.600

Huge amount of grip and, as you say EDK, just a matter of chasing tenths. It makes a nice change from the SRT10 on N3s at HSR which is just a matter of ensuring that you are pointing in the right direction.

Had a session resulting in:

21.309
42.265

T1 is a bastard, plain and simple, but the rest of the lap is quite enjoyable, shift point: not quite at the max for each gear. unsure weather to downshift to 3rd for the 1st corner, cheers.

My first splits:

T1: 21.485
T2: 42.971

In those two corners after the tunnel, how much do you guys cut them? Are you with one or two wheels on the grass? It seems that I'm losing quite some time there.

None, all four wheels on the black stuff for me

Me too. T1 I've pretty much got sorted. T2 well, I don't know what's going wrong.

T1: 21.582
T2: Pathetic

I don't think that fetchbot with take your T2 time.

First splits. I don't know why, but HSR seems to fit my driving style nicely. I love this combo, even though the M3's sound is awful.

0'21.435
0'42.573

I was on the red&white a bit, but then I'm about the tail of the leaderboard at the moment.

I race here frequently (albeit the other direction) with the NTSC crowd and not touching the curbs at all seems to be what those I can't keep up to have in common.

21.290 (used 3rd)
42.303

I'll try and improve once EDK watches my gtp qualifier replay ;) (that is if I sent it correctly!)

This thing has alot more grip than I thought it would - first attempt:

21.316
42.387

Make sure you do your lap offline Dapper - I see one of your laps on the leaderboard that was done today. 👍

2nd session completed, realizing that gear 3 is a tenth faster in T1:

21.209
42.083

Very happy with this lap as my final sector was within half a tenth of the limit I believe.

New splits from tonight's session:

21.221
42.228

Man, you are killer consistent in that 2nd sector - your first posted splits had a time of 21.000 and your second set are a 21.007 - nice work man!

First splits after my second session

21.580
42.898

I finally got my computer back yesterday after being fixed in a shop. I've been playing prologue casually and I've missed competing in the WRS alot. :P

First splits:

21.259
42.222

The car seems to grip better than a lot of other cars would on S2's. Nice combo though. :D

Small improvements tonight - seems to be the only kind you get at HSR:

21.259
42.280

I seem to be quite horrible at the final sector - need to focus more attention there I guess.

Slightly worse T1, slightly better T2, and a whole tenth better at the line:

21.266
42.181

gave it a spin

21.700
43.369

21.536
43.159

21.441
42.882

Bigger improvements in splits than in overall lap time, I need to work on my 3rd sector too.
