Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

It's been a while that I posted a lap for the WRS and there are some new names on top of the leader board with incredible times. Well done DEVIE and Animera (as good as always) and hello there! and congrats to bugman and w-g-e and SEMS. 👍

It was very close for position 2 in Div 2, but I'm glad (and a little surprised) to have nailed that one.

Yes, my first division podium and it's a win. I thought my T3 was pretty weak, but the others didn't profit from it. This was by far the most enjoyable week in which I participated. Thanks to all who participated and congratulations to all the other podium places. Replay coming when I've found out how to upload my replay.

I decided to watch a few of these tonight, to see if I could learn anything, and give a few pointers here or there.

Really clean looking lap, and you seem to have reasonably good car control. To find speed at London, you really need to take all the track you can get away with. In most corners, you're being more careful than you need to be, and you're just not making it all the way to the apexes. Please don't confuse this with turning in a dirty or borderline lap. You just have a lot of margin right now. In particular, Turn 1, Turn 4, Turn 7, and the last corner complex, you need to take a tight apex, for cleaner corners and better exit speed.

Nice lap. You were taking a few corners much more aggressively than I was. Our final times were very close, interesting to see the 2 different approaches. Turns 5 and 6, you slid the car more liberally, and I'm not sure if that last corner slide/drift was intentional, but it WAS effective.

Also a nice lap. You were a bit tight to it in turn 4. I'm wondering if those momentary shifts to 2nd going into turns 5 and the last corner helped you find some hidden speed this week? Either way, great D3 win, and well done on beating most of D2 while you were at it. 👍

Fantastic lap, smooth style. You make it look easy. Your approach in the last corner was really neat, I see how you manage to carry a bit more speed there, and it translates onto the start finish straight for an improved T1.

I'm glad you ended up enjoying the combo.

Just a tremendous lap, as your time shows. I think you carried the most speed through turn 7 of any of the replays I watched, to the point that it looked like you gave a little up going into turn 8. (Clearly, not enough that it mattered.) Great run overall, you pieced all the sectors together.
