Steward's Comments:
This is a great racing car combo on another circuit new to the WRS. Hard to believe, but this is only our second pure race car combo so far for GT5 WRS. Have fun!!

Viewing your T1 & T2 Lap Time Splits:

  • You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'.

  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Home' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay Theater' option.
  • While Viewing Your Replay, Choose the "Live Timing Monitor" To View Your Sector Times
  • To post your T1 and T2 Splits, simply post the sector times that are shown in the live timing monitor.
  • The WRS Fetchbot has been updated and will now add your splits together!

Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • Failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • Video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Good luck, :gtplanet:

Good combo.
I'll see in a few hours when i get first look at it.
Another good choice, Thanks Kev!
Cheers All !!!

I'll get the ball rolling with those splits.

Dammit you beat me to it... :sly:

A quick 5 laps just to get splits on the board.. and to have a go in something without understeer. 👍

T1: 36.537
T2: 24.020

Great combo this one. Lots of time to be found yet... :)

Great pictures and explanations of what's legal, pre-empting most of the similar questions we had from last week. Great job EDK in clarifying.

Suspect i'll be a bit slow here, roughly know the track but need to really practice it now. Always get turn 1 wrong, need to find my braking markers and get them sport on here. So many long straights is critical to get the exit correct.

Thanks for another great challenge. This will be fun 👍

This will be fun hopelessly addictive 👍

Another 5 laps and stern looks from the Missus so that'll do for tonight... :P

T1: 36.067
T2: 23.961

Brake balance 5/5, ABS 1, TCS 0, ASM 0.

Nice Super GT cars are finally here in WRS 👍 Kevin and WRS team.

What a great combo to get back into WRS after a month and a half. Had to start a whole new gt life after my old fatty died. Should be good fun.

36.403
24.279

Great fun to find the fast lines and techniques at a new track. This one is wide enough and tricky enough to provide a lot of different options.

I gave up on week 8, I just couldn't catch my posted splits, and the last sector of that lap was dirty. But this looks promising. So far...

T1: 36.736
T2: 24.223

Arrrgh. Been struggling to understand why my T1 was similar to others, but my T2 was in the 27's. I've been running on GP/F for the last hour :dunce:

Oh well, just when i learnt the GP/F track, off to learn the GP/D now. Be warned, make sure you pick the correct track :D

I like to remember D as the DTM track.

I still remember the first time I missed that right hander, woops!

Looking forward to running this after another TGTT session.

Slowly becoming familiar with this track configuration.

36.486
24.202

Still making silly mistakes, can see high 23's in T2, don't know about 35's for T1 though.

Enjoyable combo, first 5 laps:

36.275
23.817

Looked at the replay and worked out where I'm slow. First sector is quite tricky to nail, knowing when to hit the throttle in to final right in T1 is hard.
