Important notices:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all required replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Provisional" and will become "Official" once all posted replays have been verified. After 7 days, all drivers who fail to provide a requested replay will have their lap disqualified. (Beware: disqualification isn't taken lightly within the WRS.)
Drivers who do not have a submitted lap posted in the results are not to post any information related to a laptime they might have achieved in the results thread. Any such posts will have the times removed.

Replay Verification Requests:
This week we would like to see replays for all indicated results. All replays are to be posted here.

Instructions on how to upload your replay can be found here - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3180607&postcount=2

Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Nice, 3rd - some of the D2 heavy hitters obviously didn't run this week, but I'll take a podium whenever I can get one (Provided my replay checks out of course!) :)

Congrats to all the divisional winners - some amazing times in D1 :)

Some nice times guys 👍 4th again for me, seems like I should reserve that spot :sly:

Top of Handicap too, is that good? I still don't understand the bottom stuff.

I'll edit in my replay.

Congrats to Alex, amazing time with the pad. I can't believe that yours and Rutters T3 were identical. Great job on your first overall podium. 👍

Congrats to all division winners and podiums also, and for those who got into the 1'34s, look forward to seeing some of these replays 👍

I am having a break for a few weeks from the WRS at the moment, I just can't motivate myself to run anything. I think it comes down to burning myself out each week as the WRS seems to bring a new meaning to hot lapping. I am used to running a track for a few hours then moving on, but the WRS is a whole different ball game where you need to spend a lot more time on it to be competitive.

See you guys in a couple of weeks and good luck with promotions :)

Congratulations to everyone who submitted this week, never mind the winners and podium placers. Was definately a nerve wrecker due to the walls reaching out and grabbing the car in some corners

Special mention to Matt - first D2 podium and very nicely done mate, despite all the "distractions" over the weekend :sly: and also to Usual Suspect - fantastic time.

Some great times in D3 and D4 as well 👍

Am happy with 6th although I would have liked to have gone faster (as I'm sure all but Spud could say) as it's the first week I've posted a postive handicap since I started in week 8.

Thanks to the admin team again for another well run event. Seems like the next two weeks will be busy as well!!

Top of Handicap too, is that good? I still don't understand the bottom stuff.

Yes, that's very good.

Everybody has a handicap, that is a number that indicates how well you perform and in which division you are placed. Initially your handicap has been defined by your qualifier (the SLS runs). Your time has been compared to the others and your handicap has been defined. The lower your handicap the higher you are placed (division wise). D1 has handicaps of 0.8 - 1.6 while D5 has handicaps of 6.

Every week your performance is compared to your handicap.

Currently you have a handicap of 4.7, but if you'd drive a D1 time, your time ends up between the guys with a handicap of 1.0 and such. This means that your handicap result is (1.0 - 4.7) -3.7. Which is very good, indicating you performed well above your league.

If you perform worse than your own handicap you've got an above 0 handicap for the week.

This mechanism is used to issue promotions, guys who constantly perform with sub-zero handicap results are likely to get a promotion.

So relatively speaking, you've performed the best of everybody competing.

Hope this makes it clear, let me know otherwise.

Congrats to all!!!
Some very nice laptimes at the top!👍
I don't understand how you guys do that?!

Thanks Joost for the explanation.
I get it now
It seems like I'm always performing under my league then. :(

Congrats all podiums and Spud in particular. Setting times like that with a controller is beyond impressive.

I've lost interest in WRS and just cannot bring myself to put the amount of time I need into it in order to be competitive. I am therefore taking a indefinite break.

Well done everyone. :)

I hope I uploaded it ok, since its my first.
Here is my PAL replay.

Well done everyone. :)

I hope I uploaded it ok, since its my first.
Here is my PAL replay.

Looks a clean lap to me, but as I didn't run this I am unable to verify it as I am unsure where the invisible walls were.

There were a couple of places you looked very cautious going through, from previous experience on this track with racing hard tyres and this car there are a couple of places if taking the right line you could of taken flat out. If you watch some of the other guys replays like Rutter or Spud when there available i'm sure you will see what parts of the track I am on about.

Just wanted to be able to watch a replay this week, seemed pointless last week as Speedy had already verified them all :sly:

Congrats to all division winners and podiums 👍
Very limited amount of laps this week due to the big seasonal event payouts :)
 to all

I'm  Joost, with the handicap as is, even thou I'm currently in D2 Silver, I managed to achieve a time for D2 Gold, yet I still underachieved in my H/C by .189 How is that??

Hey Mignun - you didn't achieve D2 gold time, that is 1'35.435, so you just sneaked into the silver bracket and your overall numeric rank is slightly higher than that, which is why you were just under.

Congrats to everyone, all winners and podium finishers. Pretty fast times at the top.
Checked a couple of replays and they all look clean to me.

Compared to Rutter,Spud etc. I'm way off, but that's where my skill level is.
I thought I would definitely qualify in D2, so just having respectable D1 bronze times is my goal.:)

I hope you didn't take my comments the wrong way, but most weeks when people are checking replays they will give out tips and advice to help you out in the future. 👍

Well done to Spud, it's official now 👍......Still haven't found the receipt for my wheel:sly:

Great job with the pad:)

Congratulations to all who participate, divison winners and podiums

Amazing time by Spud and i can´t believe that it´s with a DS3
How is it possible you and Rutter to made T3 in under 42.xxx ?

Think that all who got below 1.35 were outstanding with all those walls :scared:

Really surprised on taking GTP_Yanaran and GTP_ScepTer_ by the line, but surely it will be this time only.

It´s my first D2 gold, and really happy with that.

Ash, my mate, what a T3, got scared by a moment :sly:
Insatiable, great run also for your podium on D2 👍

GTP_T13R and GTP_JBRINKLEY - what a turn around

Thanks Carlos:tup:

D2 Gold times are in the range between 1:35.037 and 1:35.435.

Silver times are in the range between 1:35.436 and 1:35.903.

You were toward the bottom end of the silver range, where your normal Handicap is toward the top end of the silver range. So you underperformed relative to your handicap. (But really not by much).

Indeed. I think your question should have been answered by now.

You can see it in the opening post:

Well done to Spud on the overall win. I might of pipped you if I hadn't of got it sideways out of the last corner!
