Steward's Comments:

Some guys had trouble submitting their results, if anything is incorrect let me know by PM asap so we can sort it out.

Cheers,

OLR Team.

Important notices:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all required replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Provisional" and will become "Official" once all posted replays have been verified. After 7 days, all drivers who fail to provide a requested replay will have their lap disqualified. (Beware: disqualification isn't taken lightly within the WRS.)
Drivers who do not have a submitted lap posted in the results are not to post any information related to a laptime they might have achieved in the results thread. Any such posts will have the times removed.

Replay Verification Requests:
This week we would like to see replays for all indicated results. All replays are to be posted here.

Instructions on how to upload your replay can be found here - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3180607&postcount=2

shows that the replay has been posted and verified.
rflagnv1.gif
shows that the submitted lap turned out to be dirty or doubtful.
bflagtp3.gif
shows that the replay has not been provided in due time.

Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Ok guys, the results were a bit of a mess, some guys had problems submitting, other cancelled at the last minute (Vagabond and 01GTP for example). I'm not sure if this due to errors submitting or not.

I've checked the PM logs and this should be the correct list.

Please check your own results carefully and let me know by PM if anything is incorrect.

Also, the results on the board are not (yet) correct, the results as indicated in this thread are the ones you should be looking at as these will be copied to the board.

So let me know if everything is ok.

A note to everyone: KEEP YOUR REPLAY FILES. The results may change a little needing some other guys to post a replay that do not currently require to post a replay.

What was wrong with GTP_twissy's submission?

Absolutely amazing time Wes. You really are the man at street circuits 👍 Fantastic.

Thanks Joost. I still have my replay files from all of my runs :embarrassed:
Awsome time in D3 T13R 👍 right up in D2 turf.
Too bad there wasn't many submissions in D1 and D4 but congratulations to all who took a podium spot

What was wrong with GTP_twissy's submission?

He submitted with 'Time: 54.866', it should have been 'Time: 0'54.866', i've updated the results. Unfortunately, that just cost you the overall win mate... but thanks for noticing 👍

He submitted with 'Time: 54.866', it should have been 'Time: 0'54.866', i've updated the results.
So he will also be included in the results?
Thanks for the hard work by the way.👍

Thanks Chris, but you will see later now that I'm not.;)

Well done everyone 👍 (Though I mimic w-g-e's sentiment, where is Twissy's time?)

My time was x'xx'xxx which, without giving away my time, puts me in a very good position :D

EDIT: I see the results were updated with Twissy's time. :) It puts me in a position which I am very happy with. I can't wait until I am actually on the registry and compete for real.

Thanks to Vagabond below who corrected my post. Whilst I feel it should be ok to post my time, I tend to try to follow the rules regardless.

Submitted time is the same as in the results.
Thanks JB,must been a lot of work this week.
Congratz to all who achieved their goal, city racing is never easy :)

Thanks Joost, Kevin, and crew for all the hard work! 👍

Congrats to the podiums and all who met their targets without a wall BUMP!

In D3, congrats to the DS3 drivers who all left me in the dust in T3. Did I miss the hidden shortcut, or do you guys have nitrous? :sly:
Lost more than 0.5sec in T3, compared to almost everyone in the top 15.

Ridiculously close though Wes - great job by both of you. 👍

I withdrew my submitted time because it was a way off the pace I eventually found through T3 but I didn't have a clean lap to submit with a faster time. I still hate street circuits....

My time was x'xx.xxx which puts me [xxx] :D
Drivers who do not have a submitted lap posted in the results are not to post any information related to a laptime they might have achieved in the results thread. Any such posts will have the times removed.

Congratulations all! Especially Twissy and w-g-e, big gap with rest of drivers. Also well done to podium drivers for every division.

Was there a submission from zubski?

Happy with 2nd in D2. Great times by Wes and Twissy tho!

Congrats to all! replay shortly.

EDIT: Here's me replay. Bit wild in T2, but solid. I had faster sectors, but not by much. Any comments welcome, etc 👍

yup congrats to all podiums and winners im happy with second in D3 could of maybe had first if it wasnt for a slight nudge on a barrier in the last turn when I was 2 tenths up..Not taking nothing away from T13R you did a great lap M8 well done..
i`m not sure if im going to be able to put the work in this week so not expecting much..

thxs to all that makes this possibe.. Looking forward to T3 splits and video edits
peace

Nice job everybody. Some pretty close times and just 1 tenth makes a big difference how you finish.

Really amazing overall time Twissy and W-G-E. You to Sid Playos, man I thought since you were smoking that first corner so hard with your dab of HB you would rock thru T3 and you did obviously.

Millross really awesome time for a DS3 driver. I would have had to do my best sector times ever added together to beat your time.👍

Congragulations to all other podium finishers Im looking forward to seeing your replays:)

Edit: No rule against putting your time in your signature Seismica or Super Sic.:)

C'mon, that's not the point of the rule. 👎

It's so someone who does not follow the rules is not able to come waltzing into the thread after the results are posted, and say, "I ran a 54.750, so I would have beaten you, Twissy. Oh, well".

The people whose results appear in the thread followed the rules, and the quality of their effort should not be diminished by someone who is not qualified to participate or was not able to meet the deadline.

The exceptions due to our quirky Fetchbot's need for a zero are different, those folks submitted on time, and we can verify that.

If you really just have to know that time that doesn't require a replay to prove it, just PM the guy.

Those 2 put in the effort and im sure they have replays to back up their times. They should be members already in my opinion.

Well, you're certainly entitled to your opinion, but that doesn't mean you can disregard the rules we've created for the series.

We've established a process that allows us to deal with new submissions and promotions more efficiently, but that means everyone has to show a little bit of patience. Remember that we are all volunteers here.

Whether or not you agree with the rules, they are the rules and should be adhered to, IMHO. I'm sure it will not be long before recent submitters are competing. The guys don't get paid to do this so you can't expect immediate processing of every qualifier submission. 👍

I want to say i have no problem to wait. If you think good, its same thing even if not registered you can see other driver laptimes and compare. So no problem.👍

I almost got caught out by that time submission rule but quickly submitted it again in the format the bot was looking for.

Congrats to winners and podium finishers for this combo.

I hit my limit pretty early in the week and no matter how long I worked at lapping London, I don't think I could have managed a quicker lap that was clean. Had many faster sectors but I inevitably would tap the wall.

👍 - SuperSic, I think also knowing that you did well and fought well in your head is more important than what the leaderboard says...

For example, I came fourth in my division this week which seems OK, but I know I could have done better. There have been other weeks when the reverse is also true

Yes but I can see a possible automated say kinda like fetchbot submission process where a person submits there time on the qualifier and is immediatly part of the team as it were. Not in limbo land on the fringes like people have to be now who are serious about doing some awesome TT like we all are.:)

Thats why I think they should already be a WRS member and Im not disregarding any of the rules.

Here is my my replay at London in the Tamora. I was hoping since i wouldnt be a podium finisher no one would get to see how slow I took T3. hahaha....Seriously tho I put my all into this TT and this was the best I could do this time. One of three laps where I had a T3 under 26.3 My best T3 ever was a 26.200.

EDIT: hopefully this replay works.

Nice lap, I wouldn't be able to replicate that with a controller.
I'll try to give some advice (you may already know). It could be a little mistake, too late braking, but you really have to use all the curb in the first corner or you will lose lots of time there. The chicane was really nice, the way I would take it. In the next corner you could have stepped on the gas earlier. That cost you some time. You really have to use every inch, every millimeter of the track. In the 2nd corner of the last sector you went wide and you had to get back to the left quickly, that caused weight shift and you couldn't take much speed in the next corner that way. And that corner was more important than the previous one. The last corner I took in 3rd, but looking at the replay I don't think you lost much (if any) time there.

This is just my take on the lap. Congrats on 2nd place.👍

Jack, I tried to check your replay, but I think you changed the name of the folder too quickly. You can change the name of the folder after you zipped it, I don't think you can change it before you zip it.

Thanks Mate. To be honest though, I was regularly 26.2 in T3 and would come across a 25.9/26.0 only once every so often. It's the first time ever I've gotten my 'perfect lap' in WRS, this lap was my absolute limit though.

Millross really awesome time for a DS3 driver. I would have had to do my best sector times ever added together to beat your time.👍
I can't wait to see how fast he can go with a wheel.👍 I think a DS3 is very hard to use for racing, i'd be lucky to complete a lap with one :)

Nah, leave it as "I will be arrest" that's a cool signature :sly:

Tight fight up the top by Twissy and Wes, very close and 54's is
Well done to all podium placers and participants, D2 is getting really tough now and looks like we got some really fast guys coming in soon.

Replay up later today.

- Time is good, clean lap. I can see you were holding 160 KmH on the left hander after T1, that's a good 10 KmH faster than what I was doing as my peak through there! I see where I lost some time in T2 now.

This was a fun week, I'm fairly happy with my lap. I spent the entire week running a restricted track layout and found out a few hours before the deadline that the only delimitation was the walls. I had a half hour before the deadline to run some laps, and that T3, combined with some luck, made a huge difference.

Congrats to all division winners and podiums, exceptional times from the D1 guys again. Really enjoyed the D3 competition also, on the leaderboards I remembered seeing four of us all within the same tenth at T2, great racing 👍

Here is the replay:

Thanks for reviewing my lap T13R. Yeah I think I did the chicane right but I was a little off on the entry to the last big corner in T2 and ended up wide of the apex. I had to hit the throttle and try to throttle steer it but it wouldnt, then I knew i was going to smack the wall so I had to let off and floor it again. It worked and I didnt touch the wall.

Always little things like that were happening every lap thru a few of the corners. Made it real hard to beat your ghost at the end altho you new it was still possible because it makes mistakes.:)

Edit: Just want to say awesome job getting a lower time than me, I didnt realise you had before and with a DS3 and you only had half an hour to run outside upto the edges of the wall. Really nice.👍

Nice run. 👍

You had me scared for a minute there in the first left hander, but loaded it in the logger and everything checked out.

I'm normally in the habit of giving feedback, but I only got in one session of this combo, and your lines and execution here at London were quite good. Not to mention that you are driving with a controller.
