Nice job everyone!

Cheers,

OLR Team.

Important notices:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all required replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Provisional" and will become "Official" once all posted replays have been verified. After 7 days, all drivers who fail to provide a requested replay will have their lap disqualified. (Beware: disqualification isn't taken lightly within the WRS.)
Drivers who do not have a submitted lap posted in the results are not to post any information related to a laptime they might have achieved in the results thread. Any such posts will have the times removed.

Replay Verification Requests:
This week we would like to see replays for all indicated results. All replays are to be posted here.

Instructions on how to upload your replay can be found here - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3180607&postcount=2

Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Holy crap, those are some wicked times!!! 👍

Congrats all podium finishers and everyone who achieved their goal!

Congratz to all the podium finishers.

D3 shout outs...

@T13R: you just smoked D3 this week, basically running a D2-silver par time

@Gravitron: Turnabout is fair play I say (for week 18). Nice to be on the other side of a wild finish for a change, but I still end up at the same spot (silver). I think I'm allergic to gold and bronze or something.

@Stanley: Thought you had me bumped off the podium with that late T1 split... had me worried. Nice drive. How you (and others) managed with a DS3 in the rain I can't understand.

You guys running 1'41 are ridiculously fast.

This the first run I've made in WRS without the driving line (no choice of course) and I'm glad I didn't embarrass myself... I guess now is the time to drop that driving aid for good.

Replay attached.

EDIT: Fixed attached replay... zipped the wrong folder from my thumb drive :dunce:

That's great to hear.👍

Congrats to all division winners and podiums, especially to Dan and Pekka. Amazing time Dan.
And Pekka what is it, your 5th division win in a row?

Replay will follow later.

:banghead:

Wasn't sure where I was, so I checked my messages.

From Fetchy:
Your time of "1'44.xxx" for week 27 has been accepted.
EDIT: This time would not have changed the D3 podium at all ** I just left out the xxx because I wasn't sure about posting "alleged" times here.

My first week where I "banked" a lap.

:banghead:

It's been one of those weeks.
Congrats to the Podium finishers!

Seriously need to sleep..... 👍

@Hydro -- appeal to the admins for a correction... Don't know if there is a precedent or not for this type of mistake (must have happened at least once before). They have record of when you sent the PM and the time so maybe there is hope... don't know, but worth a shot.

They've accepted times that were one digit off (from typos) and assuming your time was correct and submitted before deadline that's only a one digit error in the week # instead which is in the same league if you ask me.

Good luck.

Congrats to all division winners, podiums and who manage to the end of this "wet" week

Just insane times by the aliens

Mad "Last Minute" Max and Seken, great times below 1.43 👍

Matt and Peter, sorry, wasn´t expecting this turnaround, guess my T2 of 44.161 wasn´t that bad.

Great times by T13R and the rest of the D3 gang 👍

Good to be back on the podium of D2 on a week that i had doubts about entering :dunce:

A 1.41!!

And here I am absolutely delighted with my 1.48!
Nearly a second under the gold time which is the fastest time I ever did it in.

A 1.41!! Seriously though,I know there are some good drivers here on GTP but a 1.41....I'm amazed!

Well done.

I'm fairly disappointed I only got two fairly short sessions this week, but I figured I have to support the Nurb anytime it's up. :D
The times under 1:42 are simply amazazing, yes, amazazing.

Hope everyone had fun with this one, it was definitely a learning experience in my book. 👍

Everyone did awesome when you consider we all got gold and especially when I looked on my normal account and saw I only had a silver for this challenge...well to get as low as I did under the gold time blows my mind as well regardless how I ended up finishing.

 You folks up top are insane! I was thrilled just to get gold for the event. Well done from everyone this week.

Congrats to all podiums and everybody who reached their goal.

I don't compete much, but this week made me think I just have to make time for WRS again, it's just so much fun :)

Congrats on another amazing week! And again, I'm humbled. I like what Jack said "We all got gold." 👍 Some got more gold than others. :)

I'm glad I put in the extra time on Sunday, at least it got me fairly close to WRP001 on the D3 podium (0.172s), even though it didn't improve my placement at all.
So nice to have you back to battle with! 👍

Thanks Kevin and Admins, for putting these events on, even when you aren't able to put in enough play time to submit a time.

NTSC replay, suffix 028.

My 2nd best lap (with a better T1 split) was 0.048 slower than your submitted time so we were really close. :nervous: I ran 1'44.1xx fairly often, but only hit 1'43.9xx once all week.

Good close racing with you each and every week definitely adds to the WRS experience.

The D3 video should be awesome, assuming of course that one is made. The D3 podium is all NTSC replays so I guess we can only hope Dan has some free time this week.

Good to go Lucas!!!

Man that was a :nervous: T1!

Congrats to all the Div. winners and podium finishers.

I'm not one of the fastest guys by any means, but the 41s is truely amazing.

Looks like we had a pretty similar lap , wait till you see how I butchered the very last corner  So close to going off on the grass and used the HB to pull it back in, lost a lot of time there. Well deserved podium and congrats for sticking with it 👍

1:41 is crazy, can't wait to watch those, bit of a shame I won't be able to chase the ghosts this week though.

Big shout out to Kev for mixing it up with another great event

What can I say? 1'41.xxx :scared:

Well done everyone who survived. Dan and Wes - outrageous times you guys. 👍

Max beat me again... another habit that's forming eh? 👍

This was a very tricky week and, well..., it beat me. Just didn't have the patience (or skill) to find the sweet line - my theoretical best was still only 0.4 faster but I was never going to tie them together with anything other than luck. :)

Congrats Dan on the win and all podium finishers. I had actually guessed the winning time would be 41.5 so I was close for once, still those are amazing times! Well done everyone who participated in this rather stressful event. I think I set a record in number of times going off track in a single week even though I only had time for two sessions! ;)

I didn't quite manage to go under 42, but here's a video of my lap while we wait for the aliens to post replays. Apologies that I don't have fancy recording equipment, just a phone. :guilty:

Sorry about that Dan and thanks for checking. The issue was completely on my end. I zipped up the "Picture" folder instead of the "PS3" folder. :dunce:

Hope you enjoyed those pics. At least they were GT5 related :sly: The first one was of the close finish of an expert seasonal I ran at laguna a while back.

Anyway, I've fixed the replay in the original post.

Nice video. The music... ummmm....

Seriously I expected to see you fast guys eating up 99% cobbles in T1 especially after seeing that screen shot of MadMax's replay. I'm shocked that you went so fast without any of those type of close calls in T1. Once again you drivers amaze going fast with a clean smooth style.

Speaking of all that curbing, I couldn't get that to work for me without spinning out coming back on the "track", but I didn't try to go as far over as MadMax did and it was probably my track side wheel that was actually messing things up (on the cambered red/white and not cobbles)... curious to see how many went that route versus your line.

Thanks Dan, that was fast!!!! Sorry I couldn't provide a few more interesting pictures for your initial effort

I thought that area was off track.
I will have to remember that for future events.

Anyway, congrats to Dan and all the other winners.
