Nice job everyone!

Important notices:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all required replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Provisional" and will become "Official" once all posted replays have been verified. After 7 days, all drivers who fail to provide a requested replay will have their lap disqualified. (Beware: disqualification isn't taken lightly within the WRS.)
Drivers who do not have a submitted lap posted in the results are not to post any information related to a laptime they might have achieved in the results thread. Any such posts will have the times removed.

Replay Verification Requests:
This week we would like to see replays for all indicated results. All replays are to be posted here.

Instructions on how to upload your replay can be found here - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3180607&postcount=2

Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Congrats to all podium placers and division winners:tup:

Congrats Tidgney on the overall win:tup:

I new I had let the overall win slip with my poor T3:ouch: After seeing a 45 at T2 I think I let the pressure get to me (no surprises there) I just scraped 2nd, a close call there Wes :sly:

An overall win seems to evade me unfortunately, hopefully I am due my first one soon:)

Have to give credit to Chris, if it wasn't for his settings I wouldn't of been able to beat my time. Thanks again Chris:tup:

Replay will be up tomorrow

Thanks Kevin, Vaxen and Joost for your efforts again this week.

Congrats to all division winners and podium placers and those that acheived their goals.

Special mention has to go to Jack for a truly fantastic time and winning D2 by nearly two tenths of a second and being well on D1 pace.

Special mention also to Lucas for (another) D3 win with a D2 silver time. Great job mate.

Well done all  - a horrible track this one. Great D2 win jack 👍 Right on my bumper....

Pretty pleased with my result since I only spent about 2 hours on this week. Probably my last WRS for a while too (Skyrim fever)

My replay video if anyone wants a look:

Good job to everyone! Until this morning I thought I had a chance on this one... It seems I was wrong! I can't wait to see your T3 guys, since I didn't seem to visualize a much faster way to go through the last turn!

Good job to Tidgney for the win and also to Jack for a really good time for a padder!

If I had some video editing skills, I'd put together a montage of a bunch of failed kink runs followed by a bunch of successful ones. 💡 Just seems like it would be fun to watch. :dunce:

Congrats to all who braved this week, and well-done to the podiums. 👍
Thanks to Kevin for a surprisingly addictive combo, and Joost and Vaxen for weathering the server move issues. 👍

Nice job, Jack, especially, who gave me some PM coaching, to help me with this combo on DS3 (wheel not convenient this week).
And Jon, nice time for your first real combo back. Pretty sure it will take a good while before I'm .002 away from you again. 👍
Nice work, Wilco, you and hasslemoff really pushed me beyond where I thought I'd plateau this week. 👍

Still plenty of room in Wednesday's 3D3 races (see my sig below), are people scared of the walls, or just busy with the other 8 games that just came out? :sly:

My NTSC replay, suffix 036. Really close in the kink, but no wall sounds or observable perturbation in the data logger.

Congragulations Tidgney on the overall win. No small feat running as close to perfection as you did. D1 had quite a battle this time. Some very fine warriors in D1 I must say.

Viper and Duck I just barely won I cant say I could ever beat your times to the line again. I only did on one lap. I cant say my luck wouldnt kick in bigtime and I couldnt beat the overall winning time becasue my PBs say I could. lol

Lucas and Wilco what a battle you two had this week. Both fine warriors and yeah it is a shame you guys didnt tie. Maybe you would have to do another week at Rome Reverse to decide the winner. Id say no thanks he wins. hahaha

D4 is looking strong, wow I only wish I had done a silver time in the next division higher as well Iddledoo.👍

Thanks everyone on the congragulations.:)

Congratulations to all podium finishers.

Here is my NTSC replay.

A very close battle among D1ers and D2ers, this week, with D3ers not far.
Congratulations to all kink survivors and podium winners.

Same thing with me 👍 I tried many combinations of torque setups (was oriented to 25/75 or such). Last, 4th session, went for a 50/50, which was better for me (I had better top speed in all straights :ill: )
Then, that wonder lap after less than 10 laps. I never managed a 24.1 T1 but did countless 24.2. My evil beast was the understeer in turn 9. I missed last corner apex, but had a discrete speed through the corner. Lost 1 tenth there, no more. No way to beat you, mate

WRS board shows Animera in 10th, with my same time. Is it fixable, or depends of our submission time?

EDIT: ... and thanks to Gravitron for the split detail

Congrats to all who persevered on this one. 👍👍👍
I know I couldn't handle it anymore :yuck:

Congrats to Tidgney for the overal win, great job.
Congrats to Jack for D2 victory, amazing pad time there. 👍

Congrats to every podium finisher.

Cheers.

Here is my PAL replay guys

Have a look at the final corner and you will see why I knew I had probably lost my chance of the overall win:ouch::sly:

Chin up and see what I can manage when I move on to week 40:lol:

Deleted my GTP game save by mistake while uploading this replay, I thought I had deleted my main account as well but thankfully had it backed up on another USB. I also had this one backed up but must of deleted by mistake when getting rid of all the saved replays I had :dunce::sly:

Here's new replay attachment, please tell me this works or I have forgotten how to do it :dunce:

Cheers guys and congratulations to everyone who got a podium :)! Very close at the top which is very nice! I'm rather suprised I came top so thanks again :).

Ill get it uploaded tonight, would love to take part in the racing of this event but its the same day as another event I do so can't im afraid :(.

A little disappointed I couldnt get my perfect lap together but thats just how things go :). I think a 1'11.9xx is possible with a truely perfect lap.

Congratulations to all that reached their goals.

A bit slow myself, but had predicted that from the event parameters, need to learn to master 4WD. However, do not expect a lot better from Laguna, just a bit tight on time.

Hi folks!

This is my best result in the WRS so far so I'm really pleased. Well done to Gravitron and Hasselmoff, you really pushed me to the limit. It's particularly gratifying since I had my worst result last week at Spa.

I was hoping to get into the 1'12s, and if I'd put my best sectors together would have done quite comfortably. Really enjoyed this combo, despite the constant restarts. These short city tracks seem to be good for me.

Here's my replay.

Close podium battles in all divisions, nice. Oh except div2 with an amazing win for Jack

Congrats to Tidgney, scary fast stories you told in the thread 👍, a shame it did not all come together, but it was still just enough :)

Plato nice to finally get a 45.x T2 on the LB, too bad the nerves got you in T3. I suspect not everybody can gain 0.2 instantly from a better wheel and the right settings, but I am going to have a look at my savings now.

Wes, I had exactly the same feeling when I did a 21.8 T2; ah THAT is the way to do it, I get it now. But repeating exactly those moves and lines a hundred times never yielded better than 21.9. Good thing you managed to couple yours with a good T3 :)

Gravitron thanks for the timing sheet above, really helpful. And not at least congrats on the win, commanding div3 with third crown in a row! 👍👍👍

wilco and hassle also pushing well in div3, way to go

lapierre I was also uncertain about T3, tried all sorts of lines, and kept getting surprised when tenths fell of. Slow in fast out as always, but applying it to these curves is difficult. I felt .370 was good, but even that lacked a few km's speed at the exit, so it could go both ways. I thought 20/80 that everybody else run .2's effortlessly :dunce:

And for my friend Chris: I can accept you beating me, but it is more so frustrating when you have not even put the sweat and pain into it that I had to :ouch: - well done mate :D

Thanks:tup:

Like I said if it wasn't for Chris's settings I couldn't see me beating my old time. The more I got familiar with these settings the faster I seemed to get. If only I had another few hours with these settings I would have probably hit a .1.

As for the 1'11.9 Tidgney is on about, you would have to be "the special one" to hit this lap time:lol:

Congratulations on the overall win Tidgney. I thought my T3 could be good enough for.... but you managed to beat mine anyway. And to be honest you were probably the fastest out of all of us so it's well deserved.👍

Too bad Plato but I have the same feeling about my T1.:yuck:
It ended up way too close... Shouldn't have stopped my session and try week 40 for an hour.:ouch:

Thanks Simon, I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Actually the whole lap was a mistery to me. I just tried to avoid the walls.:dopey:
Shame you couldn't tie it with a better T3 mate. Better luck next time.👍

Congratulations everyone! Having a great time trying to get better at racing, really enjoying this series, thanks!

Here is my PAL replay guys

Please repack. The files need to be in a BCES00569-RPLxxx directory in the zip-file, else it can not import (directory levels above that do not matter).

Oops :dunce:

I will sort that later tonight:tup:

Congrats to all podiums. Very well done.

It was surely a frustrating week and I'm not sure that I like Rome Reverse very much. Too much depends on luck rather than skill. As always, no criticism aimed towards the stewards, it's not their fault Rome was built that way. Sorry for putting times one the leaderboard and not submitting. When I checked my best lap I was only 98% sure it was clean and by that time I was much too frustrated to make another serious attempt.

Edit: On second thoughts. It was probably only my skills that were lacking since the quickest guys obviously still managed to be on top.

I had some troubles at work this morning, and closed the post without the attachment. Here's the replay

@Lucas... Congratz on another gold this week. Going to break my personal best 3 in a row mark if you win again next week.

Your lap is clean. Specs and times match:

I'm going to steal your line for the 3D3 race since I didn't develop my own. Though staying in 5th through the kink huh... that was fairly close, but definitely space between your car and the wall there. Not sure in a race it's worth the risk with a drafting zone up ahead anyway.

@otxjto... Your lap is clean. Specs and times match:

2---1'13.736---GTP_otxjto

I noticed you shifted down to 4th for kink (as I did in most of my laps). No really close calls with the walls and very easy to review. A little smoke in the last sector from the tires. Nice lap!

I've learned a few things from both of you that I'll bring to the 3D3 races with me on Wednesday. 👍

So did everyone go outside of the kerb before the turn-in just after T1? It didn't even occur to me to try it until yesterday and then it was too late. It also felt too much like hit and miss. I stayed off the kerb altogether there because I felt you often got a bit stuck on it.

Yes and that's probably where you lost it in T2. I knew it would be quicker from the start of this combo but it was much of a hit and miss like you say. 2/10 times I managed to get through there cleanly I think. It was obviously worth it though.

Congratulations to the podium winners. Well done Gravitron for another D3 win.

This was a tough one, and very frustrating with that kink corner... :ouch:

Congrats to all podiums..!
Nice to see that the 3 podiums from D4 all ended up within D3-timeframe..
And how few D3-racers actually ended up within D3, bust most below.. :D

Here is my replay for this week: (index 005)
