Was a frustraing week that's for sure, so well done to all that made their respective podiums or simply achieved their target times

Replay to follow (haven't had to type that for a while ) - was happy with the lap time although my T2 was a bit poor relatively speaking. Very happy with my 22.120 in T3 though.

I expected a fairly strong correlation between T2 and T3, to a point (ie, the last turn )

Oddly, the results page has me on the DS3, while splits shows wheel; I changed my sig prior to my last splits post and submission.

Thanks for the T3 code Ren (and apologies for not delivering what I'd previously promised to you - won't happen again). I found that last turn to be the most difficult to understand. The trick seemed to be to not hover around the apex too much, get the car turned and straightened and then get back on the power as soon as possible. It seemed all too easy to lose a tenth or two just in that corner (same as the first hairpin in fact, but that was an easier corner to get right) - I estimate I got T3 correct (hitting a 22.1xx) only about 15% of the time.

edit: That t3 did make the difference! Fetchy didn't get my last splits because they were so close to the deadline, but I was .050 slower at t2 and .015 faster at the finish, with a t3 of .129. Anything in the .12x range was good for me.

Wow, what a turnout this week, thanks guys.

It's a pleasant surprise having my replay required. It's been a while since I've batted that far over my handicap. This track was always a favorite going back to the GT4 days, and I was able to get here with about my normal time commitment.

Congrats to all the top performers. Wes, incredible time from you. And great to see 2 Team SMART guys on the D2 podium. 👍

Finally, top job by Dale for putting in a D3 time. 👍

Congrats to all, fantastic times there!

Pleased with my overall result for my 2nd WRS event, I had set myself a target of a 1'07 lap and just managed it, I must have driven 300 laps this week.

Turns out I was losing more than I realised in T3, I started to "get" T1 and T2 but the last turn was almost different every lap, be interested to view some quicker lines through there.

Overall a fantastic combination though which taught me a lot about going quicker. Even took the time to grab a picture, also attached is my replay.

I think the par times are a little off this week, should perhaps be 0.1-0.15 lower. I am disappointed with my own result (could not make a good T1 and T3 in same lap), but I am still a hairwidth from a D1-Silver time. And 40% of D2 has D1 times.

This takes nothing away from Wes, way into alien territory no matter how you rearrange the pars. Absolutely stunning performance.

The tunnel entry over the grass is one of those cases that are really hard to verify. On any still shot the car looks like being just about to nosedive right onto the grass, but in reality it keeps understeering sideways, and the right wheels just stay on the curb. So it is clean. And well, impressive 👍

Now I see how to negotiate the final turn, never really got it. Looking forward to 3D3 race tomorrow

Guess this combo has been the best at disregarding Gold, Silver etc placements and has shown clearly that Gold does not necessarily mean you'll finish higher than Bronze. I've been totally swamped by at least half of D2 but that is no surprise considering the level of competition this week. Still, some grand congratulations go to the winners of each division, especially Wes, that is a shocker of a time (going to have to find your draft quick tomorrow ), and pretty much everyone in D2! Chuk, Carlos, Tim, Kevin etc.. you all left me by the side of the road this week. My submission was very last minute, had a gruelling session of 125+ laps and a lot of swearing right up to the deadline, but that time was the best (clean) lap I could do. What was really gutting was that I had seen a 24.6 in T1 and a 45.3 in T2, and then preceded to mess it up on the last corner Also saw a few 24.7's but in the end I had to settle for a high 45.5 because it was the only thing I could make stick. Then after that was the panic of trying to submit the time on my phone within a minute to the deadline and it was hiding the 'submit message' button Luckily I got it submitted just on time.

Again, well done to everyone this week, what a tough combo!
