Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays

Congrats to winners and podium finishes. 👍

I'd say I'm doing pretty well lately. That's 3 division wins in the last 4 weeks and on the podium for each of those 4 weeks. Wasn't sure I'd get the win this week as I felt my splits were a bit slower than what they should have been but I guess my final sector was enough to keep me on the top spot. I'd say I've finally gotten 100% comfortable with the wheel to where I'm better than I could have ever been with the DS3.

A little surprised I held on for second; the reason I felt down on my lap was that it contained nothing even close to one purple sector:

I literally threw away a lap Sunday with a 1'00.890 (28.089, 32.803) over the grass on the last corner, trying to match the T3 split from my previous posted splits - should have just nursed the damn thing home. That would have been smart. So... I then did approximately the same thing (within a tenth) 2-3 more times .

I did manage to bring a clean lap home with 28.25, 32.804 ... 24.669 , .002 behind my previous saved lap.

Could I fix it in my session last night? Nope. Took me ages to get back anywhere near that pace, and barely beat my original splits lap, which was a 1'25.721 (with the .337 T3).

That's why I'm cranky with myself (temperament? discipline? any brains at all?)... coulda shoulda woulda - but didn't. My submitted lap wasn't even in the top 5 on my leaderboard (about 3 1'25.24 to .26s) . Ah, well. Call it a lesson. Cool story, bro!

Thanks mate. I'm pleased to have held on to 3rd considering but I generally get up to speed quite quickly at DFR so I was lucky with the track choice this week. Plus I was only missing about 0.15 to 0.2 which is pretty much the same most weeks. Close one with Jack for 2nd - only half a tenth... And Wayne hot on my heels for 3rd. A good week, thanks guys.

Very disappointed with the number of people who dropped out this week - about a 3rd of the runners not submitting. A real shame that. So well done everyone who survived to the end. 👍

One way to get your pictures here would be to share them in GT5 and go to your PSN/GT5 account on computer and get the urls for the pics.

And the 2nd way is to export them to XMB -> computer -> file hosting site / picture hosting site (photobucket or imageshack for example)
-> upload and put in your post at GTPlanet.
For example , check the properties of this picture

for the url.

And add it to your post like this:
