Important notices:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all required replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Provisional" and will become "Official" once all posted replays have been verified. After 7 days, all drivers who fail to provide a requested replay will have their lap disqualified. (Beware: disqualification isn't taken lightly within the WRS.)

Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Ok, so it turns out I'm having difficulty attaching my replay file. Seems the replays are saved lap by lap, so my 1 replay contains 5 replay files in the folder, 1 for each lap of the race, and is too large to attach. Or am I doing something horribly wrong. Im fairly sure im not though

Wow, I thought I was on pace with low D1, high D2...far far from that.
I always do badly at Rome, can't get the hang of it.

Crazy week and excellent fun for our first race scenario combo. Kudos once more to Kevin for a great choice of car and event. 👍

Congratulations to Wes for another seemingly easy victory. 👍 I left about 1.5 on overall time but ran out of patience last night chasing it only to mess up the last lap. A big nod to Baron as well who seemed to be in his element this week - a great reward for the effort there mate. 👍 Also the other protagonists in D2 for the handicap rewards, which were very generous this week. 👍

And a big thank you and congratulations to everyone who took part and saw it through to the end in a very challenging but rewarding week.

Ok, so it turns out I'm having difficulty attaching my replay file. Seems the replays are saved lap by lap, so my 1 replay contains 5 replay files in the folder, 1 for each lap of the race, and is too large to attach. Or am I doing something horribly wrong. Im fairly sure im not though

Same issue, file is 12 mb, and size limit is 2 mb. Not too good of a time, tried cleaning up my saved replays and deleted my good one. Hurried up and ran one race tonight right before the time expired. Submiited with one minute to go. Oh well, it was a fun event. On to the next one.

Great week, though it busts a long podium streak. Nah well, WRS happens

Congrats Wes and Baron on great wins! Congrats viper and snowcrash too on some epic mid race lap times to jump up on the podium 👍

I raced the AI with the Focus in 1st spot and a Beetle in the mid pack, was about the 5th cycle of AI I think? It seemed to work quite well. I found a lot of the other AI lineups always had a car either on the kink, the back straight or the long left which were tough spots to meet.

My laps were a 1'33.5 2x low 31s and 2 30s

Look forward to watching some replays later

I cant believe i was so far behind, i really thought i was flyying lol, so if anyone wants to take a look and give me some pointers on how to improve my total time will be very welcome. i did mess up alittle on lap 4 & 5, but not 15sec's lol

Just watched Chris' and Wes' vids, very smooth, and really fun to watch. Also, I see that I should have stayed to the inside of the final turn. I was doing that early in the week but found that going in wide gave better exit speed, but it wasn't enough to make up for the extra distance. I should have tried the inside again after I got a good feel for the combo.

Nice job Viper and SnowCrash, I'm glad I had time to run again Sunday night or I would have been in trouble. Also, really happy to see a huge turnout from d2 this week, its been a long time since that many people have shown up.

Super fun week, I hope we do more of these in the future.

Fixed it for you, by changing the link inside the tags to:

I got that URL by right clicking on the green flag in another post and choosing, Copy URL.

The url of that image is wrong in post #26, it shows as http://http//img42.imageshack.us/img42/5458/user118395pic1573412914.gif

...so there's a rogue extra http// in there, which when removed, fixes the image.
