Replay Checking:

D3 podium was really close this week. Congrats to winners and podium finishers.

I knew my handicap wasn't going to be good considering the gap from me to Speedy was nearly 1 second. I could have turned on ABS, but it gave the car so much understeer I couldn't make up any time with it.

2:14.9? Oh my god that's quick. Congrats to everyone for their times. I had a 15.23x lap but it turned out to be dirty. I cut the last corner of T1 a bit too much. Oh well, still pretty happy with the lap I got.

Don't feel bad, I don't either. I mean, I don't understand the system, not just this week if that is what you are talking about. The only thing that I know is that a - is good I guess. Thats the only thing I really look at when viewing the handicap results. Other than that, its all Greek to me. Honestly, the only thing I care about is where I finish on the board. If I happen to finish first in the handicap results, thats just an extra added bonus I guess because I have no idea what that means. I just go for wins and let the chips fall where they may.

Some impressive times there!

I was hunting to get into the 15's but for the love of me couldn't get there. Once saw a 16.158 and messed up big time with the save best laptime as I ran a faster dirty one before in the same session. Since then I just couldn't get past 16.4 anymore.

Congratulations on that, I'm very surprised by my T3 , That's half a second alone in T3 i lost to James. And it was a tenth off my best and I thought it was pretty decent but seems it wasn't . My lap was pretty close to dirty at degner but I checked it multiple times, can provide screenshots if you want to make your job easier Starting the week I didnt expect to manage a podium and a negative handicap, as I don't really like the track . Happy overall, onto the next TT

Congrats to all the podium finishers and to everyone else that achieved their goals. Another exciting week it was in D3. Thank God for that last minute Hail Mary, I literally ran that lap with like 10 min. to go before the deadline. Talk about pressure. Just came up about a half yard short.

I'm the opposite and care more for the handicap results. Most weeks are pretty light in D4 with only 2-3 of us participating so if you can breathe you're probably on the podium. It's all well and good for me to say I'm going to chase Mitch or Chris or Frank in a given week but I find I am the bigger challenge.

Much of the time I drive the same way lap after lap so I have to push myself to change my speed or my line or whatever else to find those tenths. If I'm running a 0 every week I'm where I'm "expected" to be for my skill. Positive was usually a bad week with no time spent or something about the combo I need to work on for the future (harder tires, quirky car, little track experience, etc). I usually know why if my handicap comes out positive. The further negative I go the more my skill is improving, or that's how I figure it.

Just my two cents. To each his own.
