Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays

Yes, I noticed that as well. Also, most of D4 got heavily negative handicaps.

However, you'll noticed that D4 is sprinkled all through D3, so that makes sense. I may tinker with the weights before finalizing things, but yes, D2 underperformed as a group.

We'll likely stick with "no-damage" handicap, but this too is under review.

Yeah, I have no idea either. Am happy with being 4th in Division 4. Not sure if being 2nd on the overall handicapped list is a good or bad thing

Downloading replays from the leaderboard, this new system rocks. All bow to Joost!

About handicaps: Your handicap is your rating. It changes over time. Initially it is based on the qualifier, and determines your division. Every week some black math calculates what times the different handicap levels should run (these are the "par" times you see in the results). If you perform better than you should - according to your handicap - you get a negative change (producing a smaller handicap).

Over time, if you are consistenly performing better than your handicap says you should, you might get promoted to a higher division (though this is not an automatic process).

Not too pleased with my own result. I knew I left 0.3 at the track but had no more time to chase them.

But at least I guessed correctly at a 1:11.3 top time and I look forward to watching the presumably amazing replay when I get home.

its a repost, but heres my lap with an attempt to explain how i see T3, for those that mine been struggling to find a line:

the first corner was important to get the chicane right, you go from complete right and merge on complete left on the curb, to enter the chicane as straight as possible and just do weight transfer with downshift, then accelerate asap without going out of the track on exit, then i released the throtle briefly in last curve to keep the right line, you need to keep the line tight and release throttle before apex to keep a good exit speed.
