Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays

That was my trouble spot for this combo. I had to throw away a few laps because my mirror went through the barrier. Thankfully this one was actually clean. It was close but I knew it was clean!

Thanks Andrew! My hands ache from putting in so much time. I didn't figure out t1 until this morning and i left 3 tenths out there.. glad i got my first ever overall podium and hopefully going to d1 after Lucas okays my replay.

If there's anything left to check tomorrow morning, I'll grab them. Don't expect commentary because I have no idea what a good S1 looks like, just like every week not on dirt.

I knew there would be a serious spread in the last sector, but I didn't expect a 1.6 second one (or that my deficit would be be right in the middle).

And now the comments:

Combinho: Great first event. I think you underqualified a bit. D2 drivers will soon have to worry about you. The sweeping right before T2 stands out from your lap. Great early apex and used the whole width of the road.

Pitskater: Style points for the white paint job and the car is still in one piece on the 4th lap! The third sector was quite conservative but still very smooth fast lap for DS3 controller user.

Doughboy877: How did you manage to beat me with such messy lap? You really trashed this poor car. What controller did you use?

Ufothek: Not quite as close to the walls as the aliens run. Made my job reviewing the replay easier though. Great line through the last turn of S2 but again a bit wide of the apex.

Thematic604: Did you use ABS at all or did you just run aggressive brake balance? Quite a few lock ups but still pretty fast lap. This was your first event in D3, wasn't it? Great job beating half of the competition.

TP-35: Not getting closer to walls and apexes cost you some time in all sectors.

I had high brake balance because I felt that with the default I lost too much time in the first sector. For me the first sector tends to make the lap. If only the smoke showed up in the rv mirror.

Wow, delighted to have a debut win in Div 3. Just gotta say, I loved my first WRS TT and can't wait to get started on next week.

Haha. That was by far the most km I have ever put into a TT. Was infuriatingly addictive. Even more frustrating that I know I left time out there. I think if I add up my best sectors I would still have only slotted in 4th though. And I had a .651 after only about 600km, so the rest of it was just

Well done.....after 80 km i had an .712, then I needed 920 km to get a .634... but its worth the effort, sometimes really frustrating, but now I'm happy

Theoretical bests are a harsh mistress. I've been staring longingly at them all week. Like a mirage they draw you in, but once you get there, they've vanished into the distance.

Basically, I feel a bit like you, closer to my theoretical best, and I could've been too 5-10. Always a bit frustrating no matter what your final result.

Try being up here. One little mistake and start kissing a lot of positions away.

My theoretical best was 14.357, 15.483, 26.108 which would of been a 55.948..

That was my third TT so far and by far my favourite. I'm really happy with my time, though I knew my s3 was going to let me down.

Particular congrats to @Doodle, smashing it as usual, I thought I would at least be in the same second-bracket as the winner...not to be

I'm personally pretty happy with my result, particularly since I seemed to really work out Sector 2 quite quickly...the ability of Div 1 to instantly find the right lines and speed through corners though is astounding...just wish I could do that more often

@TayTheDay Thanks for checking . I try to avoid the restart button, especially on laps of under about 2min. If you hit restart every time you stuff up sector 1, by the time you nail it, sectors 2 onwards are a mystery.
