Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays

3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example

Congrats to all for the effort on a very challenging (and bumpy) city course. Some very close shaves in places but no bumps detected in any of these. I struggled a bit this week after changing wheels (and pedals) for the third time in three weeks (DF-GT->G27->T500RS) but hopefully next week I'll start to see the benefits. Mind you at D2S now (from D3B in GT5) I'll be lucky to see the light of a negative handicap ever again.

I didn't get a chance to post updated splits since I only just made the submission deadline with my replay. Normally don't get to race Monday but it's Memorial Day here so got the day off. I doubt the real sector 3 time is anything special although my posted splits were sector1=good, sector2=very bad, sector3=good

@Doodle I'm glad you didn't run as well but now I'm curious how far I was off from Alien pace. I thought for sure I had a gold time. Especially since I was over 3 tenths faster than a now silver driver. That's the way it goes I guess..

I would like to dedicate my first win to my mother who passed away on October 15th 2005 due to a brain aneurysm and my grandfather (her dad) who passed away 3 weeks after her. She would have been 58 this coming Thursday and his birthday was Sunday. A win couldn't have came at a better time. This ones for them

I was secretly hoping for a Division 3 podium, but i guess my third sector wasn't as good as I hoped it would be.

I guess I used all my luck up on Sunday. Woke up sick on Monday.. Went to get in my Jeep, tire was flat.. got to work and they gave me the wrong trailer. Turn around and get the right trailer, but there's no paperwork in it for the load. Get new paperwork and head to Ohio. Go through a "construction " zone with no orange barrels and get pulled over. 70 in a 55.. but there's no sign dictating its 55.. cop says hes gotta give me a ticket for something.. no seatbelt.. but i was wearing one.. ugh.. I'm still 100 miles from home .. I don't wanna win anymore TT's if this is gonna happen.

My day isn't going that bad (yet), but I got to my first stop at 8:22 this morning, and they're saying my appointment was at 8:00, so now they can't get me to a dock until at least 10:00, and he stressed "at least". My paperwork says between 7-9 is ok, but they don't seem to care.

Usually you can find out by opening the PARAM.SFO file in a text editor. But there are other ways too.

I see the point about my final sector. If you calculated it based on the posted splits (not the one's shown above which appear to be the real splits from my submitted lap) then I'd have had a 19.528 final sector which is a bit unbelievable although assuming it's real the fastest s3 went to pitskater at position 17. If only I could have my 41.8xx first sector back, but that was set with the G27 and I just couldn't reproduce it with the T500.

Unfortunately there is a telltale thunk where you hit the kerb at 56.883. On this track you can't see the contact because there is an invisible barrier between the car and the kerb but the noise gives it away. Nothing else happening at the time and you can see the car momentarily slide the back into the kerb.

Could one of the moderators please confirm this as it's not heavy contact but I've heard that noise often enough in my own attempts at this TT to know it means bad things.
