Reasonably happy with my time, though I just wish I could have found the seat time to shave off those 3/4 tenths I lost in sector 3 on that lap.

Good lap. Good Lines. You turned in to quickly in the first corner after T1, that compromised your speed through second apex. You had a very different approach in hairpin than me (you were using 1st and turned in very late for an early exit), may be it is faster this way 👍 You could’ve stayed longer part throttle through long right in T2 and used less curb. Last corner you could’ve turned in later, and get a better exit by being earlier on the throttle using 3rd gear.

Good smooth driving. Little on the safe side in the last corner of T1, you could’ve used more throttle. You slightly outbraked yourself into the hairpin, though the recovery was good. Very nice long right in T2 with the right amount of throttle. The curb there unsettled the car, but it turns into a nicely controlled drift. Last corner you could’ve turned in a fraction later and then earlier on the throttle, but using 3rd gave you a good exit.

@Crozzlow Your lap is dirty in the penultimate corner, where you touch the wall on the exit. It was a good lap up to that point. Your apex speed was too high and that made you go wide. Please make sure you know 100% sure your lap is clean, if not, check it before you submit.

PS. @Addict75 If you see something suspicious ("very close to the left wall"), turn up the volume and listen for a thump sound or watch the speedometer closely. Both were quite clear on Crozzlow's lap. You can also use the data logger to see sudden G-forces the other way. Only if all of those look good, consider the lap clean.

Ok yes, sorry, my wording wasn't entirely accurate there. Where the curb starts, the game has a vertical invisible wall, and a collision will have an effect on the course of the car. Now I also understand @Addict75, because there is no visible impact with the wall, but you can see that the bodywork of the car is directly in line with the curb. There also is a definite thump and a drop in speed. There are several tracks in GT where these treacherous invisible walls exist in places you wouldn't expect them to be.

@PASM Roger that. I didn't hear a thump, maybe I play my BGM too loud. Bummer, but I understand the ruling. Still, congrats to all the podium winners and those who were pleased with their results!

Thanks for the comments also! I knew I lost time in that first section of T2 but everytime I got it right after, I ended up messing up later in the lap! Not sure if that was the fastest way through the hairpin but a late apex always seemed faster to me!

Haha yeah think I did about 75 laps without restarting last night. Was so addictive! Really loved this combo!

Overall happy with the D2 win and another D1B time! Congrats to everyone who reached their goal!

All of the laps I checked are green flagged. I'm not sure where my flags went, the WRS leaderboard updated to show replays were verified yesterday.

No need to apology m8, we all do our best, thats all that can be asked for. The flags can be copied from the OP, either by marknig them just as when you copy text, or you can right click and copy the image. It is also possible to copy the flag from someone elses post, as long as the image sorce is the same, fetchy will pick it up. when we use the flags, the fetchbot picks it up and marks them as verified automaticly. the list is updated every 15 minutes.

Thanks for your analyzing - last sector was on the safe side ( @Crozzlow 's mistake happened to me too and I ran out of time to hit a good lap - saved the file at 23:47 so it was a really last minute session) and I never managed a smooth line through the hairpin. But improving 2tenths after having a few before is strange anyways

@et_ thanks for comment and check. The walls/barriers seem closer when "in the car". When I check the replay I can't understand how I've missed the apex(s) by so much. Getting old, my kids will be taking my keys away soon I suspect.

I'm just curious why it's not allowed to discuss lap times? There could be someone who just forgot to submit and would like to vent that they missed out on good result.

We used to have people come in and say, "Oh, that was a nice time you had, but I had a x'xx.xxx".

It takes away from the accomplishment of the drivers who managed to turn in their lap on time, and we have no way of verifying whether the time being reported by posting in the thread was clean and met specs.

Disallowing discussion of times that were not submitted takes away from the drama and keeps the focus on the accomplishments of the racers who did submit.
