Another question on the handicap system(I haven't asked one in a while). Before this event I had a 1.535 Hcap, I got a 1.143 Hcap this event so would it be 1.339 now(1.535+1.143=2.678/2=1.339), or is it done some other way?

I think it's more like (4x1.535+1.143)/5

I have no idea how the handicap stuff works, but I'd guess that your handicap now would be in the 1.4xx range. Unless of course, your lap is found dirty.

checking the replays, i found that i could have done the lap with limited braking and gone a bit faster

- Great beginning of the lap but stumbled a bit in the hairpin before T1. Picking more traditional racing lines would probably allow you to run a bit faster. Some turns you rush towards the apex and then have to turn too sharp to make the turn. This works with some cars but FWD typically wants super wide radius to keep the speed up.

- Good lines and interesting throttle control (DS3 controller I assume). You were a bit late on throttle in some turns. Most of the tall curbs upset the car too much. It was faster to go around them and only cut corners with low/flat curbs.

- man, what are you still doing in D2? Incredible consistency in turn 1. 31 laps in and there is exactly ONE skid mark on the pavement (and of course you hit it again on lap 32). I think the little bit of time you lost to Lucas was in the chicane. It looks like you went for an earlier apex but I'm sure you can get the more info from the data logger.

Cheers to everyone on the (divisional)podium and everyone who achieved their goals. Especially @randy1122 Great win you were fast right from the beginning and ended up giving div 3 a good whooping For myself I hoped to make it on the podium but @Gameratwork99 (great final sector)beat me to it. Anyway still happy with my 4th place. Me being 4th has it's upside for the community otherwise some poor guy would have to check my replay and then find out he needed sunglasses to look at my horrible tasteless golden chrome VW Also achieved my 4th negative handicap in a row. Now on to the "my lil' pwney" combo!!!

Yeah tough week for handicaps. I guessed mine would come out right around 0.0-0.1 because I was at that point where I'd put a good lap together and was really going to have to dig to improve. Real close to that, no complaints whatsoever.

I bet @LLOYDZELITE69 's freakish alien sub par time pushed the handicap scale back a bit on every body.

BTW @Vaxen, there is something wrong with bocowes' division placement. He only did two races including this one. First result was D3B HC and this one was D2B.

Edit: Nevermind, as Eggstor pointed out he got placed by running the qualifier before the new system was put in place.

Good lap overall 👍. Kept a very tight line going through turn 1. It pays to brake a little later and cut back at the exit (that's what I found faster anyway). Very good line at the hairpin before T1 (as good as mine in fact ).

The line in the next long bend was a little tight, you should have gone nearer to the rumble strip and cut back again at the exit, this would've allowed you to get a much better drive out of the corner. Ran pretty close to a disqualification at the concrete strip after the bend I was just talking about, but the upside to this was that you were able to carry good speed into the 1st tunnel. Ran much too wide at the bend before the 2nd tunnel, losing about .5 of a second, couple that with the fact that you then had to take an inside line for the long right-hander in the tunnel, meant that you lost a lot of time in T2.

A good 3rd sector. However bouncing off the curb lost you a little bit of time in the 3rd tunnel but you made up for it with good lines through the final chicane.

Overall, a decent lap with a few minor mistakes here and there. You have a good understanding of driving lines and that should (with hard work and and a little practice) get you far.

- Great beginning of the lap but stumbled a bit in the hairpin before T1. Picking more traditional racing lines would probably allow you to run a bit faster. Some turns you rush towards the apex and then have to turn too sharp to make the turn. This works with some cars but FWD typically wants super wide radius to keep the speed up.

- Good lines and interesting throttle control (DS3 controller I assume). You were a bit late on throttle in some turns. Most of the tall curbs upset the car too much. It was faster to go around them and only cut corners with low/flat curbs.

- man, what are you still doing in D2? Incredible consistency in turn 1. 31 laps in and there is exactly ONE skid mark on the pavement (and of course you hit it again on lap 32). I think the little bit of time you lost to Lucas was in the chicane. It looks like you went for an earlier apex but I'm sure you can get the more info from the data logger.

- That was a strange line through turn 1 but we actually stayed within 0.1 through the first sector. You then killed me in the sharp left turn before first tunnel. I caught up a bit in the final chicane (the second part) and the rest of the difference was made up due to my low downforce (ran 50/50). One more shift closer to the redline and I would have had you

Hairpins are my Achilles heel. I'm lucky that the line through T1 didn't matter so much.
