Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Great lap @msgt-sd and congrats on your win. 👍 @Cats_PJs you cut it pretty close in the final chicane but no problems found .

Congrats to all the divisions winners, podium finishers and those who met their objectives.

There were some very close results this week, one example is Div. 2 where 3rd - 6th was separated by only 0.048 and 0.113 separated 2nd - 6th.

I guess your talking about checking their replay? Go to the leader board, where it says week 80 click the arrow for the drop down box and click on week 79. Once there go to top right corner and click on results, you'll see their lap time and their replay on the far right. Just click on the replays you want to down load. Hope that helps.

Congrats everyone. Can't believe I got a D3 win on my first week back after a year away from the game! Looks like all the time I spent playing Need For Speed, GTA and Grid kept me from getting rusty, even though the physics are miles away.

@RuddRacer You don't have to post split times to be in the results...as long as you submit a lap to Fetchy, it's enough. A lot of people don't post splits for whatever reason and just submit their laps. I remember in the first weeks of the GT6 WRS, probably about a third of the people who submitted laps didn't post splits

Good clean lap. If I could offer a little bit of advice to you: Be more aggressive in terms of corner speed, using the kerbs etc. While you lap is good, it is generally calm and controlled which will be losing you some time....if you look at laps of the top drivers here, you will see that their laps are aggressive and bordering on out of control at times. As an example: Corner 1 you could have carried a good 15 MPH more through there. Hope you don't mind me commenting but I like to try and help people get faster on the rare occasions I am able to offer advice.

With regards to the speed/aggression side of things,it was a conscious decision to drive it smooth as when I went for it i'd blitz one corner,but be completely off line(or off track) for the next,so I sacrificed sector times for over all lap time.
And while I may not be challenging for higher placings,my overall standard of driving has increased immensely,and i've probably learned more about car control(in game of course,in reality i'd put Captain Slow to shame for careful pedestrian driving )from just a few weeks of TTs than in the whole time i've played GT6.
I might even take a bash at the online racing side of WRS soon-although not this time-not a big fan of the 2D.
