Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Congratulations @CRT_Apex amazing lap, you edged out @Doodle by just 0.084 seconds for the win and @GTPGhost finished third and earned a big negative handicap this week.

Congrats to all the other divisions winners and podium finishers

Though I'm a bit confused about how the handicap system works. I haven't been really doing much reading ever since I came into WRS last week so this is probably the only bit of WRS that's not clear to me.

@CRT_Apex, this weeks alien commander.
The alien force is strong with @GTPGhost and @Doodle, great laps from the Div1 troops, you guys really are the the cream.

Great car and track selection made more enjoyable (and challenging) by the great participants.

step 1: take the fastest 50% of the submissions
step 2: find the mean and standard deviation of this subset
step 3: two standard deviations faster than this mean is the "zero par"

The first thing that has to happen is for you to complete 3 events to establish your handicap & division.

Thank - you for checking the replay @RuddRacer . How do you check replays once uploaded to the PS3 , I uploaded a replay but could not see it in the gallery .... This is probably a stupid question I know ...lol

Edit: @GTPGhost Had I read your question more carefully I would have realized the part you were having trouble with is not opposite of how we submit and could have helped you with one simple sentence. Quite often I'm only running on half my cylinders.

4.Use the "Load file" feature in the Gallery section of GT6 to import it into the game. - I missed this bit , did not see it in game , I guess I was not looking hard enough .

@RuddRacer Thanks a lot for this, gave all of em a good read and I think I understand how the system works now. It'll be interesting to see how my HC develops as more events come by. Though I think having a video guide for everything WRS would help future rookies understand the system better.

Thanks for this writeup.

One thing to add to your excellent summary: once your receive your division placement, any handicaps you log which are worse than your current handicap will be adjusted to equal your current handicap. This is the so-called "no-damage" handicap, and it prevents any backsliding in your handicap over time.
