Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Congratulations @jammy21 for taking the win on @mcsqueegy 's home grounds. I liked the track a lot but only found that out when it was already too late to post a time, so 👍 for designing this awesome track. Also congratulations to all the podium finishers those who met their goals and for competing in general. A special shout out to @Serialf I watched your replay and i can see some good improvement in your driving, keep it going buddy!

@RacingOtaku86 Could you please tell us the name of the folder the replay was originally in, your zip only has the files which means we can't open them. so what we need is the "BCJS37016-RPLYxxx" name. I already tried 001 till 025 but non of that seemed to work.

@Vaxen Am I just an idiot or are there 2 drivers missing in the Handicapped results?

Comparison video is on the way!

Thanks at leas now I know I'm an idiot :P

The 'xxx' is "010". This is the first time you guys have asked me to verify this; it must've been blind luck you haven't asked me this in the past. I guess this also means I have been doing it wrong after all this time...

Are you sure I think i tested 010.

@GTP_Dutchy For an example of "go home and do it again.":
short version: some program that formats data even somewhat like a hex editor (no need to edit!) is useful.
In PARAM.SFO the byte 2408 (or =$968) reveals the correct name. So toward the end, yes.

shorter version: which hd

Then again, you might be able to read this from a text editor.

Thanks - look good now.
EDK
I've taken care of it.

I think it was the BB code Bold that was right in front of his name on the same line that caused the issue.

I tried notepad. That doenst work. Any suggestions as to which one will?

Any that will either replace non-printable with something else or just ignore that part. Like 'nano', which does the former.
I looked into it and decided it is too much work for me. I think it's better if people just learn to upload replay files the right way :P

I am kicking myself for forgetting to upload this week!! :banghead:

That must suck...

If anyone's wondering why I didn't submit a lap, I felt at the time of my first session that I was .5 down through four and 1.5 down through five (I was quite a way down, although I won't specify by how much for obvious reasons) and wanted to get another run having got a decent measure of the track. Second session my PS3 was so hot it crashed after a few minutes, third session I started dripping with sweat near instantly, and the heat just got worse from there until there was nothing I could do unless I didn't mind learning the track again. Sorry, @mcsqueegy, great combo, but the timing was off for me. If this week and the still ongoing TT were reversed I may have been able to submit for both, as the weather has cooled a lot in the last two days.
