Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Oh no!!! not again...... :guilty: Congrats to all, I'll keep trying.
Please spend some time watching your replays before submitting. Scrutineer them as if you are reviewing another driver's replay for legality.

Would be a good idea for you to watch others' replays this week as well, to see what they are doing differently.

Understand mistakes happen, but it's not that productive for any of us to have you turning in a dirty lap every week.

If you have questions about a lap before the deadline, you are always welcome to request a review from an admin. But I would prefer that you reserve that for occasional circumstances.

I'll do that. Tks

Thanks for checking @NoQuarter!!
Congrats on some massive handicap @amcdo122 👍 and to all who reached the goal and of course to all podium finishers! Well done guys!!

@Luiz Frota If you're unsure about your lap you can send your replay in PM to anyone and ask if it's clean. (well, better send it to people that are clearly faster so they won't see anything to get into their lap ;) ).
In the end it's not hard. Save laps that are better then your previous best and stop the run when you've beaten yourself to get the clean replay saved.
You can even post photos of questionable situations in the TT thread and you'll get clarification really soon if you're unsure.

@Vaxen we miss the results of the LeMans combo and I think the Kart week before as well.

Those weeks went straight to the archive without checks, due to the delays.

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/board/wrs-archive.118/

The replays are available in the leaderboard if anyone was concerned about a specific lap or lap time.

We want to continue to encourage fair play, but also don't want the burden of checking 4 weeks of replays in one week. :)

I am having a problem with the camera, maybe you can help. When I freeze it to see a situation, the case with the sirocco challenge, I cant get it to turn around the car. In the menu says to press "R1" + "R" , "R1" is the shift paddle but I cant find the "R". In the angle I saw, I though it was ok but when I saw the picture, i think @DDiamond posted, I had no doubts, it was clear a dirt lap. This one I did not had the time to check, my bad.

Thanks for the checks. However, both your messages were formatted in a way that doesn't work with the bot. An admin will probably sort this, but briefly put, when you click on the spanner you should see no other tags on the lines with the flag than the img one.

I cant find the "R"
The "R" is the right stick on a DualShock controller.

That is Greek to me.

I copied the images of the flags and pasted them after the driver names. If that's is not the correct method (and from the sound of your post, it is not), I'll need the correct method explained, step by step, without fancy terms, please.

edit: It appears that I am missing the colon after the driver name?

To get the camera to rotate and zoom, you need to switch to using the DS3 as it requires the use of the right analogue stick to perform those actions :).

You end up with a bunch of weird tags in front of the text due to font changes, and that's the problem. I copied this from your post by clicking the small wrench (spanner if you are in Europe) in the top right corner (BB editor), but just changed a few symbols so you could see them in the flesh without the forum reacting. Just get those tags out of there around the driver name and you will be fine. They are of course going to be there for the images.

I'try that today. I only use the wheel, that's the reason. :)

Here's a little trick I use to have the DS3 available for things like navigating the GUI and camera inerface;

1. Disconnect your wheel from your PS3 and connect your DS3 to the USB Port 1
2. Power up your PS3 (be sure to press the PlayStation button on your DS3 to assign it to USB Port 1) and launch GT6
3. Unplug your DS3 from your PS3 and plug in your wheel, into USB Port 1... it will self calbrate

Now, both your wheel and DS3 are assigned to Port 1 and you can use your DS3 for navigating the GUI and manipulating cameras.

Uau, that's clever. I like that. Some times, when I tried to use both, the wheel, on the track, got crazy....good one:cheers:

There's no problem using the wheel in the USB 2 port. You can can anytime asign your DS3 as Controller 1 by pressing and hold the PS button and make the choice in the menu which appears.

What they said...

I don't attach the DS3 to the console other than for charging.
But I don't even have to do the controller assignment because my wheel has a power button. Just saying if you have that, it's helpful as the game then has the controllers in the order that works best (DS3 active and then wheel active). This avoids any "wake up" issues, where a signal is being ignored until you squeeze the accelerator pedal (I don't exactly remember though, since it's been a while since I had that).

Occasionally the pedals are not calibrated correctly, that may or may not be because I did some timing differently. But I don't have to restart the game, just the device.

All good ideas. I start the PS3 with the PS controller button which automatically assigns the controller to setting 1. Once the GT6 program has loaded, plug in the USB wheel. Quick startup for me.

I did that before also (G27) but now it looks like Thrustmaster is quite sensitive with the USB connect/disconnect process...

Entertaining the thought of a Thrustmaster to replace my G27......or with what may be new when GTS drops.

Mine is a T150 and it goes creazy with the pedal if the Ds3 is attached. I'll try all the suggestions and see what fit better the T150. I'll let you guys know. Thanks a lot for the hints.
