  • Our leaderboard shows how you stack up during the week, before the deadline.
  • Submit your lap via PM to our Fetchbot, before the event deadline.

Race Specifics (Rules for This Specific Event):
  • No contact with any walls or boundary fences/markers.

Steward's Comments:

A bonkers pickup that could not be better suited to some fun on a bumpy but flowing dirt circuit that offers some lovely spots for picnics and....oh wait, no time for that, hit the pedal and pilot that fearsome bird of prey.

Saving Replays, Viewing sector times and Submissions:
  • You need to make sure you use the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay' (See pic below).
  • Before saving your replay ensure that you continue running after completing your fast lap until at least the end of first sector. This will ensure you have a complete replay.
  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Library' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replays' option.
  • While viewing your Replay, enter the live timing screen to view your sector splits. You will need to do this after your car has passed the sector markers to see it listed.
  • Simply post the splits that are shown in the live timing screen, and our Fetchbot will parse them and add them together for your total sector time.
  • When saving your fastest lap replay please ensure that you watch the replay to the end and that it displays your full lap time. Any replays submitted that do not show the posted lap time will result in a DQ.
  • Remember - When you submit your time you're also declaring that your run is 100% clean. We request replays for the purpose of verifying to all those concerned that the drivers claim is correct, which in turn safeguards the integrity of the driver, and just as importantly, the WRS. The golden rule is to check your replay before submission. If you’re still unsure, check it again, ask for a second opinion and if you’re still undecided, run the lap again.

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 30 Submission ) to (WRSFetchbot):
  • Please submit your FULL LAP TIME in the following format on a single line:
    X:XX.XXX
    (Example-) 1:10.100

  • Users can ask the bot for the current submitted time by sending a message with the Subject: "GTP_WRS Week XX Get Entry" and any text in the body.
  • Users can delete their submitted time by sending a message with the Subject: "GTP_WRS Week XX Remove Entry" and any text in the body.
  • If you want to submit multiple times in the week just reply to the conversation with your new time. Fetchy always uses the last submitted time as the final one.
  • The deadline is Monday, June 25th 2018 11:59pm GMT
  • If you are unsure of the deadline try this site.
Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Replay Checking:
  • Division winners and overperformers will be required to submit a replay via the GT Sport Share function for verification AFTER Unofficial Results have been posted.
  • Participants will be expected to check each others' replays for cleanliness, for replays marked in the Results thread as (Replay Verify Required).
  • Video/Youtube/Twitch replays are not accepted as a form of verification.

Good luck, :gtplanet:
WRS Team

Here's what I've learned so far:

1) This is probably one of the best cars (vehicles) for this track because of the ride height it makes that last turn its 'you know what' :D
2) Turn in only the minimalist that is necessary, seriously!
3) Bacially just drive from barrier to barrier :P

And here's a little lap walk thru. As you take the last turn (before your lap starts) put a set of tires on the grass and a set of tires on the dirt for that big jump. You tend to take less air and should hit around 109mph. One time I hit it perfect and started at 111mph. Anyway, turn one angle the truck so you are on the right side as you go up the tiny crest, and as you do lift slightly and swing her to the left the moment you leave the tiny hill. Get as absolutely close as possible to the left barrier for turn 2 and aim to exit the turn with one set of tires on the grass and one set in the dirt, floor it all the way through.

Graze back over to the center of the track, keeping this turn floored, downshift to 3rd as you cut in as close to the barrier on the right as you can, but don't oversteer; mind the exit and keep her straight. Turn 4 is the first spot where my laps are won and lost. Before I even begin to turn in, I brake ever so slightly and downshift into 2nd. When braking here, think about ensuring the truck doesn't go wide as you venture downhill. We want to keep her tucked in as much as possible here; the wider you go, the slower you are. Shift into 3rd at 59MPH and hug the left wall as much as you can until you cross T1.

Going up the hill from T1, ride the right wall and don't brake until you see a brown (gray?) patch off to the right side in the shade. Shift down into 2nd and ease the throttle as you graze along the left barrier. The key to this turn is to not oversteer and wait until 60mph before you shift. Then move to the left side of the track and like @Renrag39 mentioned, keep her in 3rd for that sweeping right, it's a late apex and feel free to sweep along to the left barrier, I shift into 4th here around 91mph.

in getting ready for the double hairpins I start braking at the edge of the tree line's shadow (there's also a red/white bumper on the right), downshift to 2nd and split that uphill left like butter grazing along the left barrier. I slightly lift for the hard right and keep your front tires tucked inside of the turn as you exit. This will give you a longer, sweeping hard left turn where you can (hopefully) end up turning inward less and let the truck sweep to the left barrier as you exit. You also avoid an annoying bump near the middle of the road here too which I find interrupts my top speed as I finish the lap. From here, just late apex the barrier on the left and like before when we started the track, take the final jump with roughly two tires on the dirt side and two on the grass. HTH!

I need 2600 dr points to make it to A+. If I make it before the end of the week I'll give this combo a go.

I need like 5,000 (thanks to PD/T300RS constantly breaking down moments before or mid-race) and I don't think I'll ever step foot in Sport Mode again :yuck: I'm an S/A+ driver, I don't need the validation, but thats just me :)
