Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays

Thanks for checking their lap, but Fetchy is very picky and ignores lines which don't have exactly one space between the PSN ID and the flag. Therefore re-posting along with yours that I checked:

FWIW, you probably could have gained a few tenths by shifting up earlier, before the engine power drops too low. The sweet spot was around where the RPM gauge overlaps the gear number on the HUD.

@SuperMegaGeek you have 3 tyres off at the exit of Turn 1, shame as the rest was a very clean lap. I watched it all just incase it was the wrong one uploaded but the times matched.

Wow I'm sorry for that and I'm stupid because I remember actually deleting the space on purpose thinking that was the correct way.. I should have checked.
Thank you very much for checking my lap and for your observation, I must say I just shifted up and down from feel (not great in my case lol) and also should have done a session after the update, but got a bit lazy.
Congratulations on your nice result, I've done 4 weekly so far and this last 1 had hands down the highest level of competition.

I don't think you should stay away, just do your best and it's alright, nobody's perfect.

Mate don’t worry about it, i have loads of time at the moment mosts weeks to check, ha. Worth entering still. When I check mine I use the outside chase camera and if I think I am close I will rewind back then as I approach I pause then click the slow frame by frame button and keep checking the photo mode until I am happy I am going back towards the track.

You're welcome. Note that the update didn't affect the optimal shift point; it just might have made the shifts themselves slightly faster. The optimal shift point is where engine power in the lower gear starts dropping below that in the higher gear (at the same speed, so RPM is slightly lower in the higher gear). Many (most?) cars require revving up to the red line, but there are exceptions such as this one, where power peaks significantly lower and then drops off sharply.
