  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Congrats @Philtaylor17 on the amazing time, and @Hasnain282 for completing the podium, and @quentin1974 for showing you belong in D1 with your promotion today! Congrats everyone who submitted with this beast!

My replay fades out quick as I cross the line but the 1:21.909 is visible, shared with tag #gtpwrs114

Thanks @Gravitron :) very nice last sector you had there  really tricky in those slow speed corners with that massive turbo  and probably one of the most technical sectors of the game to start with anyway, and congrats on your podium too 👍 same to @Hasnain282

Also congratulations to @Oshawa-Joe @Nerazzurri for your division wins, and @quentin1974 for the handicap adjusted win  And to everyone for taming the beast, I'm stealing @geeTeye 's petting a lion thing forever.

Here is my onboard on youtube

One question though, how the hell did you manage to stop it spinning when booting it in 2nd?

Thanks man, and nice lap from yourself too, close times through the field this week.

In terms of traction, someone with better technical knowledge than me may be able to answer better, but for me a huge part of that is weight transfer, and trying to control that with your right pedal. So the initial throttle application shifts weight to the back, allowing more throttle to be applied without spinning, whereas if you just go from 0% to 100% instantly you will definitely light up the rears. If you watch the throttle gauge you will see what i mean although i was too greedy in T1.

The caveat to this is too much initial throttle and you can spin, but too little and you get less transfer. Hard to get right in a turbo monster like this, and i didn't always manage it ( see my T1, had a .211 there at one point but a .3xx on that lap ) but that's the fun

Hope that answered your question

Yeah, cheers mate it did help! 👍

@Alpha Cipher did you see that your replay is marked for checking? Please share it with the #gtpwrs114 tag.
7---1'22.420-R-Alpha_Cipher1 (Replay Verify Required)

@Philtaylor17 I always learn things watching your replays, especially in terms of gear choices...not sure why I never tried the early upshift to 3rd when exiting the final corner, or the quick 2nd-1st-2nd blip in the corner before.

Hasnain kindly reminded me of it; I shared it yesterday :D
