Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

The last two weeks of GT Sport have been awesome, the online event was mega fun, and two great time trials running at the same time too. Makes having stay inside a lot more fun

Shared my lap in GT Sport and also on Youtube.

I realised watching it back where i lost that tenth in the middle sector, i ran in too hot on the brakes into turn 4 ( T5 if you count the kink on the main 'straight' ) and had to delay getting on the throttle more than ideal. Made up a little for it by really pushing into the next corner but it definitely cost time



@Sbartak your replay fades out at the line but the rules on that have changed i think so it might be ok

Would a OLR WRS member/admin help a newcommer out on/if how much slack one should/must give, if any?!

I went throgh a few replays and has come accross, for now, two infrigements of the rules, to my oppinion.

Hasnain282 i would

for a suasage hit on turn 10. E.g.Y can see the suspension "collapsing". Also went in closer to be sure.
Thesmallpup87 (smallpup7 being the PSN listing the lap on GTS) i would

and

for a suasage contact in turn 6 and a failing replay not showing the final laptime.

The smallpup ones I can relate to, as I sacked faster laps with these issues in my own attempts.

All are wellcome to give input as well.
Just want to get it it right.

As long as 2 wheels on the track, all is good. Hitting sausage curbs is not illegal.

For Laguna track was black tarmac and the painted curbs. Reread the original post, no mention of sausage curbs. There was even discussion about straddling the sausage curbs.

He needs to send me a screen shot of his library with the submitted time shown on PSN.

One thing to avoid is pausing and exiting right after start finish. I normally try to go at least until turn 1.

But there's no set formula, this bug has been there for the entire game and does not seem to matter to PD.

I would just say that if you have something that seems questionable to you, just post and ask about it.

My preference is to not have to deal with a lot of those, so if we are talking about a few hundredths to submit a lap that shows the time, I would like folks to do that.

But if you have a PB that you can't touch again, or set that perfect lap with all optimal splits for the week, submit that and plan to keep the replay in your library to show the time.

Ah, that pic is there for all events. More to show don't hit the track cones (optional brake marker cones are OK) and make sure you have the contact patch of 2 tires on the rumble strip.

You had of a weird line tight to the inside for the turn 1 kink and going into turn 2 braking zone. You should just hang on the outside there in a car like this.

In general, you were braking a bit later than you should, and you also geared down to second in turns 3 and 5, was faster to carry those in 3rd.

Just a few pointers to help you improve next time.
