Literally just found out about these.
The Chevelle Laguna was built from 1973 to 1977, originally available as a whole model range. Unique features of the Laguna: Urethane front end and steel rear bumper painted in body colour. In 1974, the Laguna Sedan and Station Wagon were dropped, and only the Coupé remained which was renamed Laguna Type S-3. The '75 model received a more aerodynamic, raked front end, and midway through the 1975 MY the 454 engine was dropped. The 1975 MY only managed 7.788 sales.
These things were very successful in NASCAR racing between 1973-1977.
Facts:
454ci Big-Block V8, 270 SAE net hp, 458b-ft
4-speed manual, rear-wheel-drive
