I love the landscape pics from their fb account.

Always wondered why no racing games use Scotland as a location.

Driveclub has just made me wonder more.

Just fyi, if you wanna get rid of those black bars and go full screen, you'll have to go into the ps4 display settings and set up the screen display area. :) DC doesn't have its own display menu for it for some reason.
Cheers for that - I had no idea. I'm guessing DC will have that once photomode pops up in an update. I shall go a'hunting 👍

It took me a while, but I realised belatedly that you can set the HUD elements to 0% opacity (or 100% transparency if you prefer to call it that) and now I can take photos without any text intruding 👍

I take it that Driveclub looks a lot better in motion than in pictures? I'm not taking a pop but just basing it on these raw screenshots. That being said, considering this is actually in-game these are some nice photos.

The share button pictures are heavily compressed, game looks much better when actually playing.
Although there are indeed some aliasing issues.

Here are some shots I made while driving, incl. the motion blur:

Okay thanks for the explanation. I look forward to playing this...those snow tracks.

Yeah, I found that the worst images come after taking screenshots from a replay - even more compression. Photomode from that tutorial we saw looked far, far better and seemed to use the same system that we've previously seen appear in Infamous: Second Son and the PS4 version of The last of Us.

In the meantime, back on the ranch...here are some screens showing the subtle light progression changes near sunset...and that Scuderia by the way is a pleasure to drive.

And I will go in search of the PS4 image-crop settings tomorrow...

These are great pics.

Any game can look in a photo mode. GT6 on PS3 has better looking photomode than Forza5 on new console due to lighting, car models. There was also a thread about it. lol
