That's also a load of crap. It's impossible to deliver 10mbit over coax cable, which is what you're claiming they're doing. And it's clear you don't know what you're talking about because you can't get 2.63 MB/sec out of 10mbit. Do the math

10mbit = 10240 bits per second

10240 / 8 = 1280 bytes per second

1280 byters per second = 1.25MB/s

I don't care how much you think you're tweaking you're connection - what you're really doing is telling your computer to lie to you so you think you have a faster connection.

Its not straight coax, its optical/coax hybrid

And im going off a speedtest, thats the highest ive gotten off one.

In other words, you don't know what you're talking about - so stop talking it.

If you want to prove it , than goto DSL Reporst or the site you like and do a screen shot with the results and show them here. :)

Ugh... Thank god somebody finally said it.

And no MistaX, nobody here really believes you.

I've just gone on to a trial 1Mb service from my cable provider. It was running @ 512K, but they're trialling the new higher bandwidth connection. It rocks! I hope the cost increase isn't too much!

Speed test follows...
