StarLight Garage presents the Sbarro React EV Concept, a car made by 30 students from the ESPERA Sbarro Montbéliard School of Design.
This car is one of their latest creations and like with every Sbarro, you like it or not.
I like this one very much, as far as I'm concerned this one can go into production.
In 2012 they introduced the first electric car called ‘Intencity’ at the Geneva International MotorShow.
In 2013 the ESPERA Sbarro students are proud to present a new challenge: a hybrid car. 30 Students and 13 weeks later, the REACT’E.V. concept (E.V. standing for Ecologic Vehicle) reflects the savoir-faire within the school and the University of Technology. REACT’EV is not simply a Show Car.
The Espera Sbarro Montbéliard School of Design has followed up its 137-horsepower Intencity EV concept and 360-hp V8-powered Eight concept with this, the Réact’ E.V. Note the periods between the “E” and the “V” – this is not an electric vehicle, it is an “Ecological Vehicle” with a hybrid powertrain.
In back, underneath the reptilian-scale-like cover, is a Peugeot-sourced V6 with 210 horsepower that turns the rear wheels. Turning the front wheels are two DC brushless motors that are each worth 100kW and 553 pound-feet of torque. They get juice from a 24-kWh battery pack and combined grunt is said to be 484 hp.
The two-seater coupe actually runs, something we haven't seen the other two concepts do.
The Réact’ E.V. took part in the Réact' E.V. in the 14th Monte Carlo Rallye of New Energies in 2013.
Open your eyes, maybe you will see it on your road.
