Take a look as Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi sits down to demonstrate some of the new features in GT5 Prologue! He begins in the PowerHouse Amuse S2000 on High Speed Ring, then takes us through several options in Quick Tune Screen and uses the real time adjustment feature on the new Logitech wheel. Finally, we get a quick look at the new Drift Mode in a Ferrari F430. Despite some odd background music, it’s a great video – see the video after the jump!

I do still have the ‘extra’ show on the HD of my Sky+ box.. If no-one manages to find this video, I am tempted to have my first go at using Youtube and uploading it.
I will have to see if I can ‘capture’ it later.
That does sound great, Jon, I will keep an eye out for the second half to see if it pops up anywhere around the net.
Nope.. There was plenty more footage in the 2nd 5 mins.. This video was shown on GamerTV and GamerTV Extra in the UK on Sunday….
The first 5 mins was in ‘GamerTV’ and the 2nd in the ‘Extra’, and the 2nd 1/2 had more of the same….
But the main reason to see the 2nd 1/2 was that they showed the F1 car racing amongst other cars.. Needless to say it was fast.. VERY fast.. The way that it overtook was amazing.. It just darted in and out of the other cars and looked a right laugh!
I hope they realise that this video is broken and fix it soon..
Jon
Yeah, I noticed that as well. I don’t think there was anything significant in the second portion of the broadcast, though.
Heh, the video is blank from 5:34 till 10:59. I guess the length of the video is just too long for some reason, last 5:25 should be cut out. Otherwise it’s a great video as mentioned in the description!
Changing settings realtime on the wheel seems to be cool & probably useful, it reminds me changes that F1 pilots can do on their wheels during the race.
I guess Kazunori Yamauchi is not very good at drifting :) But who cares about drifting anyway, it doesn’t matter in real racing! ;)
