Well this is certainly different, I can’t remember the last time the Red Bull X2010 was featured in a Seasonal Event, if ever. That’s not the only thing you’ll be taking out in this week’s newest events because the Mazda Roadster and race car action are also in the cards.
There are no PP-based restrictions in any of this week’s events. The challenges are as follows:

the worst seasonal event ever
LOL, the 0.00 replay reminds me of the old Muhammad Ali quick punch gag. Thought about canceling the “Best of Friends” Awards, but figured it wouldn’t be fair my friends efforts. So, hats off to those who put in the time. It took me an hour (19laps) to gold the X1 TT. Guess thats why PD has let the TT continue.
PD should go in and disqualify the CHEAT times after closing the event though. Unless they are somehow giving thanks to those who take the time point out their glitch.

Make sure you do the Mazda TT first. I did the Red Bull first and could not drive after that. LoL
What really works is drive the Red Bull then do the Ferrari F1 seasonals, it’s like your going in slow motion. Easy
A good seasonal would be a marque vs marque shootout seasonal, i.e. Countach vs 512BB, E60 M5 vs E55 AMG, Corvette Z06 vs Viper, etc.

Only thing i hope is they ban the account of those guy’s. Using this glitch on a event is cheating.
I think that looking at the replays of the ‘fake’ times, i think that it is more of a glitch than a hack
Ok anyone else see a jerk on the top of the leader boards for this called TRUX_B with a time of 0:00.116 How do I report this guy for cheating because this is ridiculous. From Britain and the #2 spot has a realistic 2:11.783 I have zero tolerance for cheaters.
Doesn’t look like cheating… looks more like a glitch 1:45 would be cheating
he’s cheating if he is glitching for the top spot. he knows an unfair advantage and is using it against online leaderboards. just because he didn’t mod the game doesn’t mean he’s not cheating. he’s exploiting a flaw, that’s cheating. i know im never going to be on the top of the leaderboard or even close to it, but you would have to be one dumb MF to exploit that on a online leaderboard of PD.
The newest time for #1 is 0:00.033 which is 1/1000th of a second faster than the #2 time. Plus, the top 11 all have ridiculous times…

I’m with you on that one. However, the Miata TT is a good bit of fun.

T-12, the X2010 was last featured in TT #24 at Monza back in November/December 2011. There was also that special TT event with the X2010 on Suzuka when Vettel won his 2nd consecutive championship.

Indeed, that event payed big money and xp, PD also offered the Red Bull X2010 S. Vettel when he won his secound championship.
It’s been for every since I’ve driven an X2010 this should be interesting.
I don’t know why it would be so helpful. The car already has loads of grip. It’s really hard to spin it unless you leave the track.
I swear I don’t understand people sometimes. Always complainig about SRF and when a time trial that tests some skills people want it on. I think this time trial proves that the X1 is not easy to master.
Cant stand the red bull race cars. People use them to ruin lobbys all the time, i mean all the time. I’ll give it a bash but tbh I probs wont touch it. The other events I will, If I can find a roadster rs. Sold them due to havin 35 different models of mx5. Coulda got 30 wishlist cars.
Question about these time trials: you post a time, and it says you’re #5035 or whatever… out of how many?? How do you tell how well you did relative to how many people posted times?
Dont really know it doesnt say. This is another thing people have complained about.
I think if you go to the link on the pre-race screen, that should tell you how many results there are. Could be wrong though.

I nearly mastered the driving for the X1 on Dualshock 3.
I really did liked the Overtake challenges – but we have only seen 1, and it seemed to me, that many Drvers actually liked that kind of change in the seasonals .. Hmm :o)
Lol Anyways I’m all in Grid2 WSR mode on PS3, so I think i will give GT a rest until GT6 Demo comes out .. :P
to me the overtake challenge in my opinion was more of a promotion to the ft86,frs, and the brz. shame though that it wasnt comeup again. o well back to dust 514 for while till saturday

Not driving the X1 though. Everytime I get used to the thing, it ruins my driving ability with other cars because handling is just so completely different. I don’t care to drive it with controller either, can’t stand racing games on controllers. Once you go wheel, you never go back

I gift “best of friends” awards to my top three friends. It gives me a chance to spends credits on cars and get rid of helmets and uniforms l don’t use or like. Usually, 2nd and 3rd is where the fight is but this ‘HotChic’ is on top 99 % of the time. And she uses an automatic.

^ Well eran is right, SRF is always off in Time Trials. Only Forced on in the “Chase the Rabbit” Seasonal ASpec Race. Thats been the Formula for TTs since the beginning if not mistaken.
Did a 2:29.720 for the X2010 seasonal event, 274th place with a dual shock 3, was hard as ever to get gold using the analog stick.
No joke there man. Those corners where harder than I thought. -_-
I was about to get around 2:22.00, but that dang sand before the finish/starting line got me. I spun out, and crashed instead. And I agree with you guys about using the DualShock 3.
Got a 2:26.9 using d-pads/automatic…took me about 15 tries, good thing too, my eyes were sore from not blinking!
2:28.007 with one spin out at Indianapolis, luckily I kept her on the track so no voided lap. Good enough for 907th at present, I am not running this again….
I managed a 2:18 with DS3. It took me some time because I kept going off the track. Perhaps I could do a bit better, but it requires a lot of concentration.
Not that bad actually. Golded it in 250th place. Lol. Thats a big accomplishment for me. :P
As much as I hate that God awful thing I managed to talk myself into doing it and managed a high of 86th… for now. Golded both of these in about 10min.Pretty easy pickup this week.
I had 85th for a bit. :P

Have you tried adjusting the “Steering Response?” It helps a little, but only just a little. Maybe I’ll try my cheap lap mounted steering wheel.
I’ve done every possible tune in this car, from adjusting the steering sensibility to other things that people suggest. I think I don’t have the patience to learn how to control this thing. I just want to sit down, relax and enjoy the game :)
The only way I somewhat enjoy this car is by lowering the power to the minimum and putting some Racing Hards in it. Even with that, the fan thing is what I think makes this car so impossible to drive.

That, of course would make sense. But we’re talking PD productions here. Where nothing makes any sense. Funny thing is they haven’t even gotten around to classifying the Group C, GT1, GTS and LMP classes properly. As if willie nillie is a cool way to go. Which is snot. Think they’ll do the right thing in GT6?
