Join us from 17:00 EDT / 22:00 BST / 23:00 CEST this evening as we air our report from a rather wet 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed where BMW takes centre stage as it celebrates its centenary.
@AJ & @Tom get up close with some of the cars taking to the famous hillclimb over the weekend, take a look the manufacturers’ stands, and get another hands-on with Gran Turismo Sport before its November launch.
If you have missed our inaugural GTPlanet Special Report from the Gran Turismo Sport Unveiling Event last month you can catch up HERE.
That wasn’t a 458 GT3, instead it was the new 488 GT3. xD
GT Sport available on VW stand. Didn’t see it on any others but could have been.
There are quite a few streams going where you can watch the event, youtube, Ustream, and livestream all have a delayed stream going. Youtube has a bit more lag than the others though.
Well done again Tom. Glad to hear the FFB is coming along in GTSport. IMO it was one of the weakest areas of the GT series so far and, combined with their tracks which tend to be super smooth to begin with, it really left you with a dead and frankly boring driving experience at times. The way you were sawing (or sawring as you Brits say…lol)on the wheel at times it looks like the cars are a lot more lively all around including in the transition from slip to grip.
I think “saw-ring” is a regional thing.
Thanks for the Special Report! Awesome. I hope you guys are at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca! I’ll be camping at the Corkscrew Camping campground!
Epic fail from me XD
I didn’t know that the one named Tom in live chat was the actual Tom the one who was reporting on the scene LOL
Hope I can see it live! If not, will watch it later. :)
