It looks like the cat is out of the bag in relation to the final three cars that will be included in the Red Pack for Assetto Corsa releasing later this week. Eagle-eyed viewers were able to spot the final three cars in the latest Kunos developer stream, Look What the Cat Hacked In at a little over 24 minutes in.

DiRT Rally is one of the best racers available this generation. After launching on consoles this year, the audience who could experience the title has grown past the initial PC audience who got the game in early access a year previous. Those PC players once again have the upper hand in terms of features, with VR support launching on PC today through the Oculus Rift.

This month is going to be packed with four races from the F1 circus. The second of those four feature races, taking place at Silverstone, home to the British Grand Prix, is set to kick off with the qualifying session in an hour’s time.

The folks at Kunos Simulazioni don’t seem to understand what rest is. During E3 last month, where every single developer was vying for the spotlight, Kunos announced arguably the biggest, most surprising sim racing news: a little company named Porsche would be joining Assetto Corsa’s stable.

This past weekend, Darren Cox launched ‘eSports+Cars’, a foray into bridging the virtual and real-world divide in motorsport together – an ambitious, regulated team that competes and operates at the same standard expected in real-life motorsport.

As one of the most famous circuits in the world, Mount Panorama has been a daunting challenge to drivers from around the globe since it opened 78 years ago. Unlike modern auto racing complexes, it runs a single layout, with the current 6.2 km (3.8 mi) circuit hosting major events like the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour in February and the Bathurst 1000 in October. That will be changing in the future, with a second layout being added to the East of the existing circuit.

Gran Turismo’s immensely successful GT Academy programme has started to roll out it’s preliminary rounds across Asia as it reaches it’s 8th year in competition. The hunt for new racing drivers start with Sony and Nissan hosting live events across Thailand and the Philippines. The top 20 drivers who set the fastest times will progress to the next round. The car/track combo is the Nissan GT-R 2017 on Tokyo Expressway, PD’s newest street circuit for the series.

The 100th anniversary Pikes Peak International Hill Climb challenge recently finished, with French racing driver Romain Dumas taking the top spot with a time of 8’51.445 behind the wheel of the Norma M20 RD (#30) in the Unlimited class.
