While the yet-to-be-released PlayStation 4 entry in the Gran Turismo franchise had already been confirmed for Sony’s big year’s end event in Anaheim, California next week, its whereabouts were unknown – that is until now.

It’s been a long time coming, but Assetto Corsa players on PS4 now have access to Porsches in a current-generation sim. Porsche Pack Volume 1 arrives alongside the game’s 1.09 update today, bringing with it a classic layout of Silverstone and the following cars:

The strapping Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat has become the subject of another audio evaluation in GT Sport. Carried out by MotoGamesTV once more, the footage puts together GT Sport’s latest direct-capture audio sample of the car against the one found in Forza Motorsport 6.

Black Friday has only just begun, but we’ve been keeping track of the deals since last week. One area that seems to be lacking — especially compared to last year — is sim racing hardware like wheels and seats. Fanatec has stepped up to offer a discount on a small selection of its wares, and depending on region, it could save keen racers almost 50% compared to retail.

Responding to GTPlanet member Donnced on the official forum, Stefano directly ruled out the possibility of using Photomode, Showroom or viewing larger replay files on consoles:

Drivers this week will be treated to some high speed fun in both the Elite and Recreational categories. The stars of the track this week will be the Audi #2 Audi Team Joest R18 e-tron quattro for Elite-class drivers and the Audi RS5 Coupe for those participating in the Recreational Series.
